Bristol Gardens Spa

	We have been to BGHS twice in the last couple of months and are really impressed with it. It has lovely spa facilties, and a good number of varied playrooms upstairs. Best of all, it has a very relaxing feel to it, more so than a swinging club, yet still has the excitement of serious playing upstairs. Our first Saturday was a little quiet, but the second visit was very nicely attended, both in the spa and also the playrooms, where there was lots of varied action ! The place is very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend the couples night for those new to clubs, it is a great place to get introduced to the scene. Although a long distance for us, we will definitely be regulars here. Date: 8 October 2015

	I can't agree with some the comments below. BGHS is first and foremost a naturist spa, and long may it stay that way. They have rules so that people who go there to relax don't get pestered. I have suffered this in the past and I'm a guy, so goodness knows what it's like for the girls. Great place. Date: 16 September 2015

	I took the time to travel down to here on friday (4hours drive) to sample the fun and naturist side of life for the first time ever. I was not disappointed! On arrival a very welcoming foreign lady showed me around being as it was my first time. She gave a tour of every level of the building and made me feel really at ease and explained all the do's and don'ts. I had already looked at the website so knew what to expect anyway. Downstairs in the spa i soon tried out all there was to offer but beware it is so hot down there and the cool little swimming pool is excellent for cooling off quick. The staff were around doing odd jobs but i never found that they cause any problems towards me or others. There were mostly guys there in the early afternoon but about 3 couples arrived after about 4pm. Everyone was friendly (guests and staff) Its great to relax on the second or third floor but you must have a towel on which makes sense as you can only be naked in the spa or rest rooms. I wandered into the rest rooms to see what its all about and with the low lighting and various rooms it does become a very erotic environment. I lay down my towel on the white open play area and lay down on it naked to get a feel for the area. 2 other guys also lay down naked in there but kept their distance and it was as though you are waiting for a couple to come up see whats on offer and start some action. Other men would keep wandering about checking the rooms regularly hoping for an invite but the whole time no matter where you are in the building everyone obeyed the rules and never made any kind of move towards others which is what makes this spa excellent for me as a straight guy, newbies and experienced naturists or swingers. I had to leave at just after 5pm because of the drive home. It was a shame i didn't stay longer because i would have liked more time in the rest area but for a first time i was impressed with the spa as a whole. Date: 15 September 2015

It's not a swingers club, once you understand that the rest comes easy, it's a naturist spa. Using the spa facilities is all about being naked and relaxing.

Yes there's rules, which ensure that the spa remains a spa and not a swingers club.

The staff and owners are lovely, the only time I've ever seen them look grumpy is when having to deal with individuals who seem intent on making other people uncomfortable.

It's lovely and clean, it all works, it's a wonderful way to relax. For when you want to be a bit naughty and have a play there are the rest rooms upstairs.

If you get out of a hot tub with a hard on in an area clearly designated as a naturist zone, what do you expect? You'd get the same treatment at any naturist resort too. It's really not difficult to understand the rest rooms are separate to the spa and the rules in the rooms differ to the rules in the rest of the spa. Some might say, it is a natural selection process designed to keep people who can't cope with something so simple away from the rest of us! lol. As for touching under the water, it is actually quite obvious if you are standing out of the Jacuzzi and looking in, again no smoke without fire. 	Visited Bristol Gardens yesterday hoping to chill out after a traumatic few weeks. I am afraid that was impossible. It started off badly downstairs in the wet area when I climbed out of a tub with an erection, unfortunately staff walked by as I appeared and was told in no uncertain terms to cover up, I hadn't even had time to reach for my towel ! 	Visited the gardens last sunday :) We had a really lovely time, probably the best wev had so far. The atmosphere was great and the turn out/mix of people was just right. A massive positive point to note, was the temperature of the cold pool. Us along with others noticed the temperature has been raised slightly. To say it is an improvement is an understatement. The pool has transformed from being the "bath of the brave" to being a lovely relaxing central space that is easy to socialise and conversate in. At one point there was 3-4 couples (us included) all swimming and interacting together. 	Visited on a midweek afternoon and apart from a few single men we were pretty much the only couple there. The facilities were nice enough, nice jacuzzis etc. staff friendly and helpful. What we wasnt keen on is the no touching policy! Myself and husband of 15 yrs were told off for kissing in the hot tub and we were the only ones there! !To us the whole build up of meeting friends is talking, touching, kissing.... Not just lets go upstairs to a playroom... ! Also another could be issue would be the no alcohol rule... Ok in the day time as we do not drink in day but would be nice to enjoy the facilities with a glass of wine and relax in the evening. People seem to use it as a cheap hotel room for the evening with a spa thrown in. There were lots of couples but absolutely no atmosphere and no mixing at all. The play rooms were busy all night with just one on one couples playing alongside each other but god forbid that anyone touch anyone other than their own partner. We had fun and made full use of the facilities .. but in the end we just got bored. Next time we have a spare saturday evening .. we will go somewhere much livelier. Date: 29 June 2015

I like the fact that the spa area is a no-play zone, as I can properly relax without feeling under any obligation to play or watch anything. The whole building is well maintained and clean, staff are hard working and polite, and the rest areas are fun too. As many others have said, the gangs of single men hovering around masturbating in the rest areas is a bit off putting (particularly when they start knocking on doors etc), and hence I prefer going on Saturday or Sunday nights when there is an even gender balance and no predatory zombies! The rest area gets very hot so some fans would be great, and I would welcome slightly bigger towels as being a curvy lady, the towels currently on offer only go half way around me! 	This club is superbly set out with a variety of different areas, all attractively decorated with an ambient atmosphere. Cleanliness was also immaculate. We attended on a Friday night but the place was practically deserted. There were 1 or 2 couples and a few predatory single men, and no social atmosphere. Maybe it would have been better on couples night. As with all naturist clubs there are blurred boundaries between naturism and swinging. However BGHS, compared to other high profile naturist clubs, seems to overplay their status as being strictly 'naturist only', eg the extensive printed rules displayed lockers and changing room walls stating that any kind of amorous or sexual behaviour is strictly forbidden. The fact that the staff were fully clothed did not help create a sexy atmosphere compared to staff at other naturist clubs who join in the naturist spirit. In addition the closing time of half ten gave us a feeling of a curfew! Admittedly there were private rooms, but with freedom to express sexuality in the public areas not being allowed, we were unlikely to progress to having some fun in private! To summarise we think BGHS is an excellent naturist club and we would recommend it to all naturists. However we would question whether it has a role on the swing circuit. Date: 28 June 2015

	This club is superbly set out with a variety of different areas, all attractively decorated with an ambient atmosphere. Cleanliness was also immaculate. We attended on a Friday night but the place was practically deserted. There were 1 or 2 couples and a few predatory single men, and no social atmosphere. Maybe it would have been better on couples night. As with all naturist clubs there are blurred boundaries between naturism and swinging. However BGHS, compared to other high profile naturist clubs, seems to overplay their status as being strictly 'naturist only', eg the extensive printed rules displayed lockers and changing room walls stating that any kind of amorous or sexual behaviour is strictly forbidden. The fact that the staff were fully clothed did not help create a sexy atmosphere compared to staff at other naturist clubs who join in the naturist spirit. In addition the closing time of half ten gave us a feeling of a curfew! Admittedly there were private rooms, but with freedom to express sexuality in the public areas not being allowed, we were unlikely to progress to having some fun in private! To summarise we think BGHS is an excellent naturist club and we would recommend it to all naturists. However we would question whether it has a role on the swing circuit. Date: 28 June 2015

	Went to Bristol Gardens again last night fast becoming our guilty pleasure. The owner Sam has a great sense of humour and makes you feel most welcome. Her staff are fantastic and keep the place spotless . A great cross section of people attending and a very happy ship . Will be back soon xx Date: 28 June 2015

	We dropped into BGHS for a couple of hours on Friday evening to check the place out, and enjoyed our visit. On the positives it is clean and the spa facilities are very impressive. It's a very enjoyable place even if you don't wish to partake in pleasures of the flesh so to speak. On the negatives, we didn't go during a couples only time, so the single guys were quite stalkerish, and the place seems to have more rules than cricket. Mrs was admonished for standing up in the hot pool (gives the wrong message to the single guys apparently?!?), for standing in front of the water jet in the cold pool (stops the water flowing around the pool or something?!). All the stress that the spa facilities erase gets replaced by stress from pleasant but very officious staff. Strange. The spa was also fairly empty for a Friday night, we had hoped to meet with more couples, and perhaps enjoy them in the relaxation area. And finally the closure at 10.30 seemed early to us. However, despite this we would return on a couples evening. One Saturday perhaps. Date: 27 June 2015
