I'm just airing my view about my treatment on here. People think single women have it so good because the % on here against men is lower.
This is probably my 4th or 5th profile.
The things I read from strangers.

Can I make you pregnant
Sexual scenarios,

I'm not sure why anyone past the age of 14 speaks like that to a women they've never met and when I call it out I'm told

You see us woman have to filter these profiles to be safe, is this person gonna be sound, polite, not pushy, safe etc
When comments like that are thrown like I'm being asked to make a cup of tea no. That's why I'm not meeting.
Then..... After vetting you get to meeting and what I was seeking is diminished at the first social.

As if by some grace I should be grateful.
My profile is direct, I don't get so many messages. I'm sure I'll be told to filter single males. I don't see why that's the resolution.
Could people just not start with simple non sexually aggressive messages

Without being confrontational in any way filtering out single men and doing your own searches is a resolution. It might not be the one you want but it would cut down on the messages you dislike recieving. |

We get it as a couple. Single men seem to think if you are on fab, you can be spoken to in a degrading way, you're obviously fuk anything. You can see the messages before you read them so we just delete them and block them. |

As someone who reads profiles and respects what is said in them, what is sent by others it makes me wonder how they get anywhere in life  Mind you polite messages often get you know where either lol  |

This is my point. It is almost like because people partake in swinging, we are dehumanized.
It's no different to having an interest in anything else. I delete without being read, that is a small sense of achievement.
Then they wonder why there messages get deleted that way thinking I have 300 messages to read.

I repeatedly said a polite no thank you to someone, in response to uninteresting and unappealing messages (hi, wot you up too, fancy DP etc)
When I bit back slightly and asked which part of no thank you was proving to be a struggle to grasp the response was illuminating of sadly too may people in here
Basically:
You are on a sex site
Therefore i’m entitled to activity to with you
When you say no I’ll call you ugly/unattractive/slag etc
And then suggest I wasn't interested in the first place
Thick skin a must on here.

I know plenty of women who are proactive and block single men just messaging the ones they are interested in , setting the ball rolling. Others wait to be messaged and never get the kind of message that they are looking for. |

Someone messaged me recently. Some very blurry photos on his profile BUT impressive verifications- several from female, well-known forumites! So I trusted that and tried to start a conversation. Big mistake.
All convo revolved around arranging to meet for a fuck and go, when I repeatedly said I didn’t want that. He wanted me to drive 2 hrs to where he was and I clearly said I was not doing that. Eventually I stopped responding and he was just sending a barrage of messages which descended on threats later on which made me block him. What an absolute nutter.
Based on those veris, I stupidly gave him my phone number and he kept sending lots of messages there. Blocked too. I used to trust verifications but not anymore- wow, what a basket case! Hadn’t come across one like that for years. |

I don't get many messages as most men do get the message when the "this person is not looking for your category", or however it is worded, I guess. But still, occasionally, someone would message out of the blue. Some messages are very clearly copy and paste, particularly the ones mentioning they read/liked my profile. Have you really? Lol.
Others are chancers, see me online and just try it on. Hardly any messages lead to more as I prefer to meet people offline. |

I can relate to this. The total ignorance gets me. I make it clear that I'm not into guys with beards. Yet I get messages from guys with beards expecting me to make an exception just for them because "it will be worth it". Superiority complex or what?

In my long experience on here I've learned that sadly there's nothing you can do to stop these kinds of messages. The best thing is to block people as soon as they indicate that they're not what you're looking for. If it gets too much then take a break from the site and regroup. Keep to your boundaries and protect your energy.
It's a real shame that some men don't realise that they need to go at the speed women want rather than expecting us to go at their speed. It would make everyone here a lot happier if they did. |

You have to ask yourself if the guys on here would treat women the same way if they were in a pub, club, store etc. 100% the answer is no. In fact a lot of the stuff that's asked/suggested by the entitled males on here would likely get them arrested if they did it in person.
