Howdy folks!  The next big social is on Saturday the 17th of August and Aberdeen is heading out to the Wild West for the evening! Yee haw! Get your ticket, remember your hat and lets have a good ole’ time! It’s been a very popular theme this year so hopefully if you’ve been in the Western spirit already you get to dust off those hats and boots again!  Please note this is strictly a social event and no playing will be allowed at the event!
This will be an early evening (around 6pm) til late and tickets are £15 and non refundable – this covers the venue hire, buffet and entertainment. As with the previous ticketed social any extra money from tickets and raffle on the night went to a local charity and it will be the same this time  . Message this page for info and for payment details! 
This will be open for all you fabulous fabbers though hoping to keep the guest list as balanced as possible - sorry single guys this is generally aimed towards yourselves! Generally there’s more single guys than other demographics looking to come along to socials so please note; If you’re new to the socials, we do ask that you be verified and have an informative profile with pics (not just those pics  ); if not verified and with a blank profile there’s a chance if we are tight on numbers that you may not get a space.
More information will be updated here and through profile updates. Any allergies please let us know when getting your tickets so I can inform the venue. The theme is generic western and dressing for the theme is not mandatory but encouraged to get into the theme whatever your take on western is!
There will be a telegram group open for this social around 2/3 weeks beforehand so we can get to know each other a bit before it; more info and the opening of it will be announced in the coming weeks. If you’re new to socials and nervous please feel free to post below any queries or dm me and I’ll try and help! Those who’ve been before know that I enjoy cheesy ice breakers to help folk mingle and have a wee laugh and no doubt there will be another at this one!
For those looking to travel through to Aberdeen or if you are just wanting to make a night of it and thinking about booking hotels, please feel free to send me a message for recommendations.

Yay! The month countdown is on! Eek! Right now I have a waitlist for single guys - there will be more spaces for guys opening once the ratios balance a bit more
40 of you sexy fabulous lot have paid for your tickets and on the guest list - I know a few folks are waiting on payday etc but once you pay you should get a confirmation message from me but if you haven’t yet just drop me a message with a wee nudge

Everyone on the attendee list who wants to join the chat it’s not mandatory at all but a good way to mingle with people before going to the social itself |

Thank you E and all the others who were chipping in to help.
We had great fun as always; meeting faces new and those we love seeing each time.
We bailed earlier than we would have liked, as we realised we were pretty knackered from the work week. The best thing, is there's always next tine.

Our first ever social event and pleased to say we would happily attend more! Those we chatted to were great and very welcoming. Sorry we didn't get to speak to more of you before we left but we figured we should bail before starting to feel overwhelmed by the whole experience. At least that means we will come back for more 🤞
