I’ve just been speaking with LeiaOrgana and how there hasn’t been a Dundee social for ages so we were planning on organising one. We were thinking of drinks in a pub at the beginning of October but wanted to gauge interest before finalising on that option. So here’s your opportunity to let us know if you want to come along and put faces to body parts  |

Great idea ladies, our monthly socials are becoming more popular in Aberdeen so good to see Dundee having one
Our next 1 is first weekend in October so if we don't clash could maybe have a wee road trip to yours x |

Dependant on date, I may come along. Birthday is at the start of October. I can't remember the lady/couples profile who used to organise them all the time way back years ago but I missed a lot of opportunities to attend being so new then. I will keep my eyes peeled. Excited |

Darren's band play venue's in Dundee often so a possible live music social meet up with others? X"
The problem with that is it will be difficult to have a conversation with a live band playing, so probably not the best idea.

Evening all, we've narrowed down a couple of dates and are checking the venues we think can accommodate 40+ people. Will get things finalised this week. It will be central so easy transport for everyone

This is true however it could be secretly blended within a venue that I would be playing so that there's absolutely no charge and everyone can attend and the secretly word is "ARE YOU HAVING A FAB TIME" making it even more exciting rather than the usual run of the mill gathering. |

As we've already said a live music venue is not what we are looking for but nothing stopping you organising your own event, there's clearly enough interest in Dundee for more events. Hope it goes well

Hello all!
Sorry for the delay in sorting things out, but all is a go now.
The Dundee social will take place on Saturday 1st Oct, as it's just a drinks night rather than a big party we don't want to wait too long.
We will be taking a £5 per head deposit which will be returned as a drink behind the bar. I will send you all the PayPal details over the weekend.
Location will be central and sent to all attendees the morning of the social.

No worries, we didn't want to leave it too long and October is awkward for me so was limited for dates, we also wanted to avoid Halloween. Hope to see you at another one |

Date doesn't work for us this time as our social is following night. Hopefully you'll have a great night and make this a regular thing so we can come along to another one |
