I guess sometimes the timing is right and it works for them, but I bet they put off the vast majority from ever meeting them. |

It's a numbers game. There are a few women who will respond positively to a message like that. Unfortunately, the reality if Fab is that for a lot of men it doesn't matter how much effort they put in they still don't get anywhere. If you're investing time and effort and not getting any return, why would you bother? Better to just spam one-line messages and hope you get lucky. |

It’s only really happened for me once where I changed my status to looking to meet today and I got a response from someone I hadn’t spoken to before. It worked out well. In just over an hour later we were naked together.
I’d say that is the exception not the rule though. |

Maybe not with every man you messaged, but Im sure you’d have a better chance than the opposite way around.
I did an experiment with a female friend on here. Each put up a ‘meet’ essentially worded as a “social and see what happens.”
I got 0 replies in 24 hours. She got a couple of hundred in the first couple of hours. It just highlights that the guys on here are more likely to gonfor this sort of thing. |

It's not something I make a habit of doing at all, but I did go from a first message to being in his bed within 2 hours, and he lived an hour away.

I think it's such a disrespectful thing to do. I have never nor would I ever dream of doing it. I get blocked for sending a nice message sometimes so Christ knows what would happen if I sent a 'fancy a fuck'message. |
