I do wonder when the bubble of hope will burst for me. I used to go to some socials nearby but they don't happen any more. Other events around London have increasingly suggested the exclusion of single men and as I don't seem to be able to find a plus one for events, I don't really bother any more. I have gone to Gran Canaria alone twice and although there is a bit of fun to be had, it's mostly a lonely experience. Perhaps it's the January blues. Perhaps I've just had enough of being invisible. We'll see. |

I don’t drink generally - and every time I think ‘just a glass will be ok’ I end up emotionally fucked for 3 days

I am quite happy logging in and going on the forum and chatting, but ai doubt I’ll be meeting people anymore. Can’t be arsed 99.9% of the time and also I am in a very doom and gloom mood right now.
Maybe I’ll change my mind once I’ve made a full recovery. |

Having gone past many of the age milestones I learnt a while back that those numbers don't count. I should have packed away my heels long ago but the enjoyment of meets and sex is still going strong and now I never think about being too old to continue. |

age does not matter, for guys so long as you still find the ladies beautiful and exciting and can raise an erection that can be appreciated and the ladies so long as you have an interest and a desire to be satisfied, you're never too old to enjoy sex if you're brain wants you to |

Hubby and I have the conversation about maybe stopping more frequently these days.
As we get older, and bits and pieces are starting to sag and ache, we’re finding it harder and harder to fit it into our lives, especially as our kids are becoming older, awake/around more, and much more aware of what’s going on around them, and our energy levels are decreasing.
We’ve also found that the quality of meets, and definitely the quality of interactions on here has dropped, to a point where the effort I put in often isn’t worth it for the results.
It’s been an amazing journey, but the day it becomes a burden instead of an enhancement is the day we stop, and it does feel like the scales are starting to tip that way xx |

I guess it will happen one day I don’t give it much thought. But it does change as you get older things that you want out of it change the types of people you meet sometimes change.
Anyway, why are you thinking this? You got about 5 years or so until you hit the peak FAB golden decade  |

It’s high time we did, but keep coming back. There was once a time when age wasn’t an issue, but now it’s a social pariah and if you’re over 45 it’s time to get out and take up hand sewing bespoke coffin linings. Fine if your a lady, you could be aged a 104 with a clout as dry as Namibia and weighing the equivalent of a minibus, you’d still have a mass following, but if you’re a couple or heaven forbid a decent guy, you might aswell bite the barrel of the inherited Luger right now. |
