Christ, where do you start ?

I've got most of these loaded to phone as ringtones....

The Persuaders,

World of Sport,

Cheers,

Man About The House,

That 70's Show,

BBC Snooker (the original guitar version, not the chappy modern one).

Ski Sunday,

Top Gear (again, the original Allman Brothers version of 'Jessica').

Channel 4 News,

Treasure Hunt,

Monkey,

Taggart,

"Aztec Gold" (ITV, Mexico '86 World Cup).

I've also got a few station ident jingles saved such as London Weekend, Thames, ATV.

And of course from the cinema, the LEGENDARY "Pearl & Dean" intro.

Transsexual Transylvania

Literally no-one will know this, but when TV first started in the late 70s there was a SABC comedy called "Willem", centered on a bumbling Johannesburg private detective. The theme got lodged in my 10 year old head, and is still there.

Likewise the theme to "Oskar en Knersus", a kids' puppet show about a rabbit who lived in a world inside a dustbin, and was constantly being chased by a pterodactyl. I think the magic mushrooms were handed out freely when that one was made.

🤣

"No one mentioned the theme to 80s/90s series boon.

Sung by Jim diamond

Hi Ho Silver! you got me lonely ranger...

My friend was in an episode of Boon when we were 10, I am still jealous to this day "

Never thought of becoming an extra yourself Jamie? I'm signed up with a couple of agencies ATM as an extra if you're interested.

Would you do a sex scene?

I was asked to get my arse out in the woods in a scene, I thought hell no

Some absolute classics already mentioned. I'll add;

- Dave Allen at Large

- Why Don't You

- Diff'rent Strokes

- Dangermouse

- Superted

as for present day, I think they've done a stellar job with the Jackal intro
