I wouldn't shave it off simply for a chance at sex, but if I really connected with someone and they preferred their men clean shaven, I'd give it fair consideration. None of my current partners have a preference one way or the other. |

I shave or grow mine as the mood takes me. I went through a beard and long moustache phase during Covid.
It started to look messy and Covid had finished so I shaved it off before a social … she was expecting a walking moustache to turn up and because I had shaved I got the thanks but no thanks, she originally noticed me because of the hairy chest Tuesday threads back then, she never got to she the chest  You cannot win |

The only times I have shaved my beard (long stubble) have been:
✂️The height adjuster broke whilst using my clippers which resulted in a strip of grade zero /skin. No disguising this so then had to do the whole thing.
✂️An incident with a broken spray head on a fire hose at the Navy Fire Fighting School. A close shave indeed. It was like the extreme stuntman version of Veet , I just wiped off the singed hair. Managed to keep my eyebrows though. |

I can’t imagine ever wanting someone to shave their beard off. A-short neat beard is very attractive to me but if i ever grow my own feel free to ask me to shave it. I also dont mind body hair on a guy but prefer genitalia shaved. For myself apart from my head i prefer to be hair free. |

It's moot for me because I like beards. But I think I would find it a turn off that someone would do that. |

Lol not a chance, as with everything in life, its 50/50 she either likes it or she doesnt. If she doesn't, she definitely never touched it and presumes whatever they want.
The beard doesn't define me, if she's only interested in looks or other vanities, she is of no interest to me  |

i dislike beards and wont meet anyone with one .... but i also would not meet a guy who offers to shave it off have some self respect it your face your beard own it there are far more women who like them than dont ... offering to shave it of for sex has a hint of desperation about it ... be proud be you |

think you'll find its not women who ask men to shave its men offering so dont worry us women that dont like beards wont find any attraction in the first place how ever we often get guys sending message that they would shave erm no thanks....
ive turn guys away from turning up with just not shaving these are guys who dont have any beards but think its ok to turn up with a day or two growth nope what part of facial hair do you not understand |

I completely understand your frustration with certain people turning up to a social/date with an accumulated amount of stubble/hairyness about their face.
My point was and still is, if the person who arranges such a situation, I would never contemplate shaving off my beard for the sake of sex as the OP originally asked/enquired about.
Each to their own preferences and quirkiness etc |

I am what I am, but I was once told that a good beard should not be too long to be unkempt or too short to be too stubbley.
Keep it well defined and conditioned.
But shave it?
Never, unless it's for medical reasons. |
