Easily gone past 1000 messages in the past, I like chatting 
Highest currently 600 plus,I still chat to them and have also met them numerous times.
Getting to know people is a good thing

Generally if there's a connection that's creating a good deal of chatter then we'd head over to a messaging platform to continue.
I've had 4 different profiles over the years and a few people have kept in touch with regular messages and we both know we're probably never going to take it any further than this.
Anyway, to the op; I haven't checked but I can't imagine there'll be many, maybe 1 or 2 with a count of 30.

There is! If you go to your read/sent folders, you'll see a number in a ticker over on the top right side of the last message; that's the number of messages in the thread you have with that person. |

There is! If you go to your read/sent folders, you'll see a number in a ticker over on the top right side of the last message; that's the number of messages in the thread you have with that person."

I meant in your inbox total, read and unread not actual coverstions between chats. Total messages received. But I notice you can only see a certain amount for a certain time? Am I wrong? |

Ahh, my apologies for misunderstanding your question! Yeah, you can only see how many you have unread, and if a certain amount of time elapses without reading them, there's a server cleanup process that auto-deletes older ones from your inbox. |
