"You know what else I hate?
“How are you trouble?”
Eeeeeeee let me just uncurl my toes "
What if it was a person you found really attractive? Would it be a deal breaker or could you overlook it though? |

No, still hate it. I could probably overlook it for all of ten seconds before I was repeatedly sick in my mouth |

Young lady or young woman feels like I've been called to the principal's office. I'm too old for that shit ![](/icons/s/lol.gif) |

That's a pretty good way of repelling unwanted attention I guess! All I can imagine is a cat when it has hairballs now |

"Simply, as with any pet name's, affectionate nicknames or anything other than your chosen name. No one has the right unless you give it..."
Not sure it would stand up as a legal defense as to why you karate chopped the man running the fruit and veg stall in the windpipe though |

I've been called "chica" most of the time this week. Apart from "hombre" earlier
Both better than Señora (reminds me of old ladies sitting in the street with fans ) |

"Wench is an endearing one….
….if I brace myself in time for the inevitable slap
Preceded by "fetch me another flagon of mead...."?"
I grew up watching too many Hammer horror films featuring those busty serving wenches ![](/icons/s/razz.gif) |

Really I learned something today.

"In my neck of the woods, ‘Duck’ is a traditional term of endearment.
My Nan used to call us kids that. "Ello, me duck." Loved it!
I'm sure someone else near her used to say "Hen" as well. "
Think Hen is Scottish, Glaswegian maybe. My knowledge on this is mainly from Rab C Nesbitt so could be wrong |

I’ve heard that used here to. ‘Elli me old ‘en’ (note that the Bucks dialect is notably lazy and ‘H’s’ are seldom sounded i.e ‘I fink’ etc |

My house mate has a list of about 30 terms she rants over. I just call her maggot now mostly.
She gets proper bent at times with it when i not seen her for a few days
Though I call lots of people maggot now when greeting them .

"What about ‘Treacle’… "
Fully acceptable is treacle.
An old boss when I was waitresses would call me treacle, then give me a wink. I liked it.
If its someone I like he I don't mind what he calls me, as long as its not derogatory ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I think your right. If memory serves me well it never worked too well for Jonny Bravo as an opening line. |

Don’t call me baby.... Isn't that a Voice Of The Beehive track?
Nobody ever calls me nice things like that (boo-hoo & blow into hanky with snot oozing out cos of hayfever which reminds me I need to get some anti- wotsits), can't think why? LOL!
I hate "ok babes." It seems like something that Mick Jagger would say as he struts by, not a love interest.
I'd prefer she call me "honey bunny" or "Mr Squirrel Nutkins!" Then I can reciprocate with " alright Mrs Tiggy Winkle!"
Honestly, I don't know where I'm going with the Beatrix Potter bit....
Think I need to get a life or me coat!
