Generally, I love the word ‘Alas’. I find it quite funny when used.
I also love the word ‘Habitus’ (sociological) because it is just an easy way to describe a lot of things.
Bookmarking this thread because, well learning is fun. Thanks, OP |

Existentialism.
The philosophy that emphasizes individual existence, freedom and choice. It is the view that humans define their own meaning in life, and try to make rational decisions despite existing in an irrational universe.

I liked to write the word little when I learnt to do joined up writing at school!
But my favourite word to say is majestic! If use this word to describe anything, just know that I'm a very happy man about something! |

My favourite two words are Spanish: mogollón and imprescindible.
Mogollón means "load", like in "a load of work to do", but it just seems so MUCH of a load when you say it.
Imprescindible means something that's really essential, and it just sounds SO essential when you say "es imprescindible" than If you say "it's essential".
Maybe we are weirdos, but we speak in a mezcla (another fave word = mixture) of languages at home. Spanish, German, Dutch, even a hint of Japanese has crept in recently. Plus English, of course
Alsjeblieft, everyone. |

It's simple but effective. I love the word fuck.
I love how you can stick fuck almost anywhere in a sentence.
I love how you can stick it in front of a word and it becomes an insult. Fuckmuppet, fuck up, fuckwomble.
Fuck is such a great word. |

I like insuperable for the same reason, it's such a smooth, harmonious word.
Superfluity is just a ridiculous word but is a fun one to use too. I've had a superfluity of Haribo this afternoon that's left me feeling bilious. |

It's a lung disease caused by inhaling volcanic ash and yes I can say it. I first encountered it in a horrible science book and they handily wrote it out phonetically. |

How do you pronounce that
I pronounce it
Cu tuk
I'm rather fond of serendipitous
I am trying to re introduce
Gadzooks
And cunt is a special word
I'd suggest onomatopoeic
The sound of the word invokes an emotion I'd suggest even for those who dont know the word

Fathom.
It’s a great word.
There’s a line in Maxïmo parks record, postcard of a painting that goes...
“You are just another thing I’ve yet to fathom”
I apply that line to most things in my life currently. |

1. Bumfuzzle. Not what you think. Refers to being confused, perplexed, or flustered.
2. Collywobbles. Most people know this already. Refers to a weird feeling in your stomach or an overall bellyache.
3. Gubbins. An object that has little or no value.
4.Malarkey - Doesnt need an explanation I think. |

Dominatrix over Domme , its got an X in it FFS ..The least used letter in the alphabet .. It conjures up a much more gothic romanticism than an " me " stuck on the end of just Dom . Personal opinion but i rekon male Doms are jealous of it and perhaps even frightened .. Turns me on to even just write the word ..
Dominatrix , Dominatrix , Dominatrix ...there thats me set for the day |
