I find it really strange that there are people in cam rooms, eating, just sitting there for hours on end in their dressings gowns etc? I thought this site was supposed to be sexy?! |

I do find it odd when sometimes there are groups of people who know eachother sometimes having quite in depth conversations about personal things in the main chat. Feels a bit jarring to see things like 'hope the funeral went ok' in amongst the requests for a bit of nipple play.
I usually go in as a viewer because I want to see some dicks being played with, but as you say, there's people sat there at their PC fully clothed with a coffee and a vape. Each to their own but on rare occasion I cam I try to not be on cam until playing etc. |

It's all down to personal preference, I like to go on cam and get naked from time to time and play... but not all the time. I usually go in to have a natter in the chat rooms... have a giggle etc... plus i find it easier to have a real time conversation in the chat room then the ping pong of messages in my inbox....

You can change a setting in privacy which hides your cam from view only users.
So as a siter supporter you can go into a room as view only when its full. It depends if the user's cam has that privacy setting on or not. Other times if you cannot see someone on cam (yet their cam is on) they may have blocked.

I think some may be missing the obvious here. Tell you what, do a little experiment.
Log on to chat and surf a few busy rooms. (but do not start cam)and when you do check who the last person to look at your profile was. You could also look at the number of recebt fabbed pics. Do this for ten minutes then log off and see how many profile visitors happened during that period (why it's useful to find the latest who looked at the start).
Now log back in and do the same period of time in rooms but this time turn youe cam on but do not have it on your best feature. Point the cam at your elbow, or ear ort something. After ten mis log off and count up profile views - even though you had nothing titilating on show your mere presence on the 'cam on' list will generate traffic to your profile.
Repeat again but this time doing something depraved on a perfectly lit slice of live video play and it will be higher still.
It's why its a good idea to regularly upload pics or take previously private ones to public status....simply appearing in the 'latest photos' albums generare traffic to your profile. Same to a lesser extent by updating your status, adding a meet or a forum post. Its how you go-a fishing in these here waters
Traffic doesn't mean quality or even that it will result in a meet but it's a bit of a numbers game to start with and whilst I agree that people sat fully dressed and looking bored or eating is a massive turn-off, it's not without reason. |

after spending more time on cams recently, I'd say the annoying things (to me) are :
1. Fully dressed, bored looking people (usually females) either not really engaging at all, only engaging with a few close contacts or not putting any effort in but coming across entitled fuelled by the nauseatingly false compliments by the hordes of single guys.
2. Nearly all MF cams in the bi-room are single males wanking off, many not listed as bi. Do they feel its a safe room to due some secret wanking in?
3. The bug which means people show up in multiple rooms, which results in people thinking they are being ignored when talking to them and/or the subject not knowing who is actually seeing their cam.
4. Despite conversing and superficially getting along with an active cam, finding it frustrating when your cam isn't looked at once by the other party.
5. People viewing cams without showing their own, made equally annoying if clicking through to the profile finds its hidden. It's kinda creepy.
It won't happen as I know the software is off-the-shelf to some extent, but I think a few improvements could be :
a. Only able to view cams if broadcasting your own. Level the playing field.
b. De-restrict the limit of cams docked. I think this is the reason some never look beyond the couple they bring up to start with.
c. De-restrict the limit of people in a cam room, it's daft when theres a handful in each room really. I don't see there being a technical limit in this day and age, plus if you did that you could rationalise the cam rooms into thematic ones which may make more sense, like....
d. A room where people want to be directed or direct, A room for people where general text chat is the focus, A room for exhibitionists/voyeurs (no direction), fetish specific rooms, a 'naked only' room and so on and so on.
e. The ability to have a cam-to-cam private session
f. Allowing a separate identity to be shown for couple cams where only the male is using (it hardly ever seems to be the female) MF(M) etc
As I say, I know they won't happen but all that said, it is possible to have a great time on the cams IF the people you are talking to are making an effort, everyone is engaging and the creep levels are low. It's maybe only happened a handful of time but is possible! |
