| We visited the club on bank holiday Sunday when it was open to non members. A well appointed club with excellent parking. We filled in the forms and had our I'd checked then given a locker key and told there would be towels in the locker and drinks would be added to our key number and that was it! No offer to be shown around! Went through to the bar and waited for a member of staff to serv us, after about 10 minutes the same lady who signed us in came through and asked for our order, then appolagised as she had to attend reception, then answer the phone then came back to serv us our drinks, so after 20 minutes we got pur drinks, Unfortunately the coke out of a bottle must have been left over from last night and was totally flat. We then decided to wander around before it got busy but had no idea where to go or which doors to open as we did not know if they were play rooms of not, we did not go upstairs as it stayed you had to be dressed down do decided to wait until later. The club itself downstairs was very nice, good decor, nice social areas and dance area. Outside we found the smoking area and BBQ, have to say the food was excellent. Eventually we went to dress down to go and look in the wet area, however we ended up in the mens locker room struggeling to find pur locker number!! we were then told by a nice chap that the couples locker room was further down the corridor. the wet area is very impressive, we then went upstairs and have to say it does not match up to the rest of the club, just small bedrooms and one larger one, all spotless but just straight forward bedrooms. We chatted to a lot of really nice people and there was a very good mix of younger and older. Our honest opinion is that first impressions count and unfortunately a lack of staff early on let the club down although the young lady was very helpfully she was running round like mad! When you are opening your doors to non members it would seem sense to have people on hand to show them round. Would we go back? Difficult one really £50 annual membership and 3+ hour drive We are really not 100% sure, we always like to try somewhere more than once as everyone has an off day so if the club has another non members day we will probably give it a try but without trying again we would not pay £50 membership.
