So.... everyone?
I’m still going to work, but otherwise isolated. I live at home alone, I’m single, I have no family nearby. I think I’m going to struggle but I’m trying to remind myself it could be worse. |

Counting days that I could go back to work, and wondering where I'd be sent. As the day centre where I normally work is shut for 12 weeks. At present, all our staff are on forced self-isolation for 14 days after one of our service users got diagnosed with the virus. When we are all in the clear, we'll be sent to other places to help. For now, trying to keep myself busy with some work I could do from home (online training etc) and getting plenty of rest. |

I have a new found respect for teachers.
Their patience, their ability to teach, their patience...
My kids are keeping me busy so not able to dwell on anything really. I’m avoiding all media except the Coronavirus update from the MP’s and just taking it day by day.
No point thinking too far ahead right now. Just take each day as it comes. |

You all need to find something to reduce your stress levels. We are all in a situation we cannot control so acceptance is key.
Try looking online for strategies to cope and strategies to reduce stress.
Good luck all. |

It's not really the staying in that's worrying me it's the 'what is happening to the world in general' that's baking my noodle.
You go on social media and all these people are trying to imply tat getting locked down is our opwn fault for going out when they're not meant to be but if you listen to speeches from other heads of state they're all saying exactly the same things at the moment, like they';re reading off script.
This was simulated last year (Event 201). In the last six months, 1300 major company CEOs have stepped down, some for apparently no valid reason.
Any minute now it wouldn't surprise me if the whole ANPR traffic system gets used to track who is driving where, it's already been reported that police forces have been using Google tracking analytics to work out where there are people gathered, and so on. Shit is getting very wierd. I'm almost tempted to start keeping a diary/journal for the first time in my life because I think some very huge stuff is hapening that should be documented as much as possible for future reference.

"Sadly.... I am one of the lucky ones who gets to go to work!
I am worried sick!"
I know what you mean, I’m having to look after other people’s teams as I’m the only authority figure in my departments.
So my patience has gone through the roof. |

Working from home. It's ok, get to spend some quality time together, get some jobs around the house done as well as work. It's good when you're working on tasks rather than fixed hours. Will watch a movie tonight as don't have to get up early in the morning. Something I haven't done for a long time. |

I respect those who working in the NHS, schools, shops & other fellow key workers.
Because work in general is stressful enough but now the demand had increased so much to the point of people are spreading themselves thin. |

Worrying about the world in general and read too much news over the weekend, which made me anxious
I’m working from home (which I’m used to doing a couple of times a week anyway) and that has helped. I’ve actually enjoyed the last couple of days, I’m not fazed by doing this living alone
I worry for a couple of my friends who are really struggling though |

Working today out and about.
I will be honest it was a absolutely beautiful day, hardly any car's or traffic.
But I did still see an awful lot of people out and about.
Maybe getting their 30 minutes but lots in the middle of nowhere and a good distance from nearest village.

Got to deal with it, but fucked if I know how."
Be gentle with yourself. Set goals. Do things that are constructive, that you feel help. Look for self help mechanisms. And patience. |

Get stereo, radio, music player whatever you can find.
Find song you love.
Turn up full volume.
Get naked if possible if not just stay clothed.
Then dance and dance. Sing, cry laugh, scream, jump then relax.
Repeat as many times as required.

Our business had to close down last week, but we'd already done so, as our customer base had totally disappeared!
But, I've been retained as Caretaker, to ensure property security, so still living-in as before and on company payroll.
Thus, for part of each day, I still have a job to do; ok, it's a small percentage of my daily routine, but it helps. |

Self isolating at work.. which is also home... stock to feed, crops to grow... does mean my isolation area is a good size, I can take as many walks as I fancy without leaving home . But too busy to |

Hope everyone is coping ok. I’m still working but likely going to be doing so from home very soon. Once we get through this mess we can all get back to our kinky ways. Be safe and be mindful of the safety of others. We’re in this together so let beat this fucker and get back to swinging. |

I am doing good watching movies and playing computer games. Should be in work but closing schools put pay to that as single dad with no family close by to look after kid can't go into work. Does leave me a little worried about work and money in the coming weeks and months. |

I think that’s the problems for a lot us.
Not seeing friends, family, loved ones and even not being able to meet.
It’s difficult especially those who are balancing this whilst dealing with mental health.
Hopefully we can all beat this shit together. |

I would not cope had it not been for a friend.
So I have taken the decision to leave my home and co-isolate with sophie tomorrow.
We have been isolating seperately and safely, tomorrow will be a swift home move and we shall be locking the door together.
Mental health matters too x |

Very well thank you.
I started my self isolation by chance on january 1st had to then break it a couple of times in February however since 4th of feb have been self isolated and loving it tbh.
Rather be home and safe than outside at risk.

I had a huge wobble after lockdown was announced.
I'm working from home at the moment but starting my new job on Monday which will see me back out assisting people again. I'm counting myself very lucky to be able to have the normality of work returning.
I am very worried for my sons though. At 12 and almost 14 they are fairly independent but are missing out on a lot.
I fear things are going to get far worse before we see anything improve. |

I'm glad I live in a decent size house with a garden rather than the small apartment I was in two years ago!
Missing the gym but have got a weights set at home that I'm back on using.
I'm working from home now as collected my work desktop yesterday.

Glad to see people with spirit again, the last few weeks have been a nightmare and had lost faith in people with this selfish panic buying. I was coming home from work and couldn’t buy a thing so was eating take aways for a week. I took the decision to take a day off to go shopping not just for me but for people around me that couldn’t get to the shops because they don’t drive or live too far, looked like I was panic buying but I split it all up so everybody had food and essentials took me 7 hours to find it all, glad the lockdown happened when it did or I’d have to do it again, cost me me a half a weeks wages but glad I did it these people won’t struggle as much now in the coming weeks. Its lifted my spirit to see how happy they were |

On the surface I'm still quite calm. Every now & then the anxiety is overwhelming, and then it passes. The isolation doesn't bother me inasmuch as the helplessness does. I'm sharing schooling duty with my ex. I'm cooking a lot but not enjoying food at all right now. Music and meditating helps, the media doesn't. |

My office is closed for three months, but I can access all our systems and my staff's calendars from home. Team meetings are being held via Skype and WhatsApp to communicate across the group's I manage. Our members can still call as we don't have phones at work, just Skype.
I was going stir crazy after day one...I shudder to think what state I'll be in come June, but things could be worse...the other half and the cat are amusing. |

Been self isolating for nearly two weeks now and I bc suppose getting used to it . But like others missing the importance of face to face contact with friends and family . It’s so critical . But amusing myself with various FaceTime friends and Houseparty “ socials “ with friends too . Watching sone television but still struggling to concentrate on it . I’ve cut my media viewing down to a minimum . I try to always remember that this virus has a low morrtality rate . Hope everyone is doing good , x Amanda |

Those with families at home?
Those who are single, how are you coping?
Is anyone finding the isolation useful? I.e. self reflection? |
