Bareback v Corona...

Im not judging anyone, but I think the mixed attitudes to the Virus, is half the issue in the countries troubled mostly by it.

Typically sensible people are throwing caution to the wind, carrying on as normal and meeting up, then buying everything in sight in the downtime.

Then there are people on here that only practice bareback, have loads of meets and are happy to take their chances with the HIV virus and other STI's. Not meeting due to coronavirus though.

Is it me or has this sent the world mad?

never quite understand the link between barebackers and The Virus. At least they aren't being blamed this time though.

Bareback is a risk between the people who agree to it. Meeting with the risk of corona virus is a risk to anybody else you come into contact with. Personally neither are worth the risk but in a free society bareback is a personal risk,to you and the people you have sex with. Corona virus is a risk to us all.

Everyone will always do as they please irrespective of obvious or not so obvious warnings information or details.

Irrespective it's a matter of choice.

Choice whether to go bareback or not.

Choice whether to self isolate or not.

What individuals do during this time is now of greater concern as it affects the wider public, all, most vulnerable and the elderly.

So it comes down to whether you care for others and your nwighbours or not in my eyes.

Myself I've been in self isolation since january. I had to break it due to work and travel however I have been making plans since january as this was obvious to me back then.

Since returning back to the uk in the first week of march I've been in lockdown.

Not because I have to because I'm ok but because I choose to because I dont want to be the reason someone else suffers.

I am lucky due to work I can afford to do this and I understand not all can however if you're able to then protect those that work to keep us all safe by staying indoors.

The delivery drivers the post-people the NHS staff the food workers...we owe it to them if they help us let's make it safer for them.

That's how I've been seeing it.

Be safe all!

Ps: the bank workers and all I am not aware of course that are keeping us safe in the army and services too. We owe it to our country to step up by stepping indoors.

No strictly true as condoms have up to 20% fail rate and STI can be caught orally. So BB or not you are your putting your partners and there partners, partners at risk, same as Corona.

Also anyone in crowded shared spaces risks catching Corona , so why blame the carriers exclusively ? Same as anyone taking an unprotected cock in the mouth or body, surely you wouldn’t just blame the person who’s cock it is ?

It’s the same - it’s just transmitted differently

Ive already said it in another thread. It's the same. Someone did point out you see a lot of meets and new veris and many have BB pics. I see it as the same ingrained thinking... A Fuck anyone else approach. It's good for new block list candidates though.

Well it's not so simple. Most people will get the Corona and most will have mild or no symptoms. So not really a risk to all. The risk is those of us who are asymptomatic and pass it on unknowingly to those whom are most vulnerable. So you and I and millions of others will mostly like kill someone with it.

I dont see the difference between risking bb in any situation, even the present one.

Though I'm going to be impressed if anyone can fuck AND maintain 2 meters separation...

Even if someone said they could manage it that would be by fab measurements which isn't always accurate lol
