I was never into PDA to be honest - could get put off seeing other do it.
However, really depends on the situation. And there is one aspect of it I find that I do enjoy. |

"I always carried hand sanitiser anyway, before the pandemic so I'm used to cleaning my hands."
I've just used it once today. I mostly avoid touching anything with my hands, that others may deposit something upon, when it's avoidable. I'll use elbows etc, to push doors, for example. And I'll not travel in lifts with others, if possible. |

I use my top to pull open doors, elbows for doors the open out. Anxiety, and PTSD, prevents me from being in enclosed spaces anyway, so don’t worry much about that. Take stairs if a couple of flights up, if it’s a tap dancer I wait until the lift has one or two people at the most, and depends on the size of the lift. |

Same I was before.
I wash my hands regularly as well as use sanitiser.
Always been the same after watching 95 people out of 100 not wash their hands in public toilets... then of the 5 one pretends to wash!
Why pretend? I mean it takes the same time to actually wash them!

I was always aware of washing my hands etc, I shower immediately after being out it's automatic even before COVID, guess that's why I never got it until my former manager intentionally came to work with it as he was just an asshole who said everyone had it by now.. this was 2024 and I'd never...I was bed ridden almost 2 weeks.. pretty horrendous when I had no one around to help me |

It's a pity that more of us don't take some simple steps, to help protect our own and others' health and lives. I'm grateful that some businesses are still providing sanitiser, which I've used once today, because of their thoughtfulness. Washing hands is so easy, with soap and water. |

so after all that the conclusion is, no matter what you do to prevent it at some point you were always going to catch it, the jabs sanitiser masks social distancing bubbles ect only prolonged the process and possibly meaning you got a milder variant

Mitigation of risk isn't a no win approach. I've not had anything like a cold etc, since the pandemic started. I could do more but I've been fortunate and likely enough to reduce the risk levels. I know too many people who have had and some who still have long Covid, to want to suffer it. |

Well indeed. In a similar vein, I've always maintained hygiene and respected people's physical space so not too much is different. I see people now coughing sneezing and spluttering around supermarkets or on tills and then touching my food so if we needed to try and avoid spreading something again I'm not sure we would be any better second time around. |

what has been odd throughout is when certain people within a family household never had any symptoms when the household is riddled with it, must of just had a really good immune system expecially been so contagious 🤷 |

It's thought to be high levels of a gene called HLA-DQA2 before exposure which you can't acquire from drinking distilled water or eating cabbage |

I use tissues etc on handles. We could cut a lot of different infection rates, with simple measures. But someone would complain about falling excess death levels |
