What are people's plans? We are dying to get abroad but realise it probably won't happen.
When this is all over, will it make you want to go to the place you always wanted to visit, life is short and all that?
We are thinking Japan or South Korea. Using the time to save and dreaming! |

I have to fly soon I’m dreading it. But once I get there I’m making the most of it and going to do what I need to do then have a good time.
In terms of holidays I want to go to Vietnam and continue with the plans I already had like Oman and mooch around the Emirates.

I’ve written off this year entirely but on the plus side it means I get to save my cash and leave so hoping the world will open up next year.
I took a gamble recently and booked a flight to Cape Town in January. If all goes to plan then it’ll be Fiji in October’21. Am still hoping my Race Across the World application has a chance too |

"A wet market is any market that sells fresh fish or meat.
So. Pretty much all over the World.
Including that one in your local town."
Sometimes "wet market" implies live animals and fish.
That's what I understood to be the driving force behind the media banging on about the market being a "wet market" the whole time. |

We have South Africa booked for early December, so hoping that goes ahead. And then also planning on booking Thailand & Vietnam for Xmas, been looking at flights and might book this weekend.
Would love a trip to Desire Riviera Maya this year too but just gonna wait on that and see what happens but looking doubtful. Might aim for next February instead |

As soon as we're able we'll be rebooking and going away as soon as possible.
Yes there is the concern of flying but given we have no idea of knowing who has it or is a carrier I don't see why our lives should be put on hold indefinitely |

I had planned to visit my sister in Milan and Corsica in September with friends for my 60th.
1. Don't know if I'll have a job after this.

I have almost three weeks in July I intended to go to Cambodia or Vietnam via Thailand (not both I know I wouldn’t have enough time) fancied Cambodia more as you can get a bus to Siem Reap from Bangkok.
Flights are cheap currently but obviously common sense means I’ll probably not be able to go.

I've never particularly liked air travel, i find it uncomfortable and stressful. Not the concept of flying as such, but the aggro of airports, baggage searches, being packed into a tin can, losing luggage, long immigration control queues - there's just nothing pleasant in the whole door-to-door experience. And now that it is actually a real health danger, i cannot see myself doing that again for the sake of a holiday at any time in the near future.
The last few times that I've flown have been when reluctantly dragged along on group holidays with friends and family, and then it has taken me days to relax after getting there, and sometimes on return home I've felt more fucked than if i hadn't had a holiday.
So for me it's going to be holidays in the UK, somewhere that i can drive to, with wide open spaces that i can either be alone or be with close friends. |
