It's better to source data and evidence from reputable sources.
I have no clue where op has pulled this opinion from.
Multiple rounds of testing are required. Then approvals are needed from governments.
Meanwhile, unless anywhere has produced millions of vaccination shots to give to people, it's still only a hope for the future.

Would only be approved as last resort as was with Ebola's medical teams.
General population at least 12 months due to safety testing.
Trump has suggested this a few times but corrected my medical officers. |

It's feasable as scientists new about the virus in 2018, Chinese scientists published a paper March 2019 about year ago. So effectively this June 2020 would have given them plenty of time to produce and test a vaccine.
the future's so bright |

Saw Bill Gates TED Talk that mentioned the discovery of this virus as high risk but then suggested as there are potentially over a million other candidates for pandemic around the globe, it would not have got much further than being catalogued and filed. |

Do you have a link to the paper? All I can find are papers about coronavirus in general or papers about SARS and MERS, not covid-19. As you know, these coronavirus strains are not the same so a paper written about previous outbreaks would not be relevant to this one. |

A story to keep people’s spirits up is all that is. The words hope & hopeful are used. Unfortunately there isn’t much else to go on.
It’s also in the Daily Mail... Not exactly a credible source. |
