Full 5 day camping for myself and will be pitched up in black camp.

Going in on weds and just seen the map !!! was heading for blue camp but not sure the heart will make it that far from the car park. Can't remember if pink is on a hill ?? |

I think Pink is fairly flat, but It's a way out past a treeline at the bottom of a hill, if memory serves. |

Yeah, apparently they had to move the village because it was distracting pilots coming into the airport, if you can believe that. |

Apparently the issue was with the big tops in the village. Weird I know as it's been there for 10 years with no such incident that I can recall hearing of.
Having seen the map I think our camp is still heading for blue as per usual just for ease of space. We have a large camp of people usually. |

Yeah, honestly I'm calling bullshit on it. I know that a few years back they were told that the shuttle buses weren't allowed to use the circuit anymore because they were making it dirty!
Still, hopefully this won't be too much of a hassle for people to get around. |

They seem to change their mind every few years, I remember watching planes take off directly over the main stage one year... Its weird most festivals have well established layouts. Not DL though it seems. |

Yeah we also have a large group and are usually in blue. We just figure it's the furthest from the west car park so most people will go for the others first. Wooo blue!!! |

West carpark they made people get a bus to the entance one year. Looks about a mile and a half walk. Shall head in early to get a decent spot but it looks like a trek this year. |

Doing the 3-day camp, driving down late on the Thursday night. Sounds like even sleeping in my car that night, I might still get more and better sleep than some of you
Quiet campsite for me and going solo.
Hadn't heard the app was out, so thanks to all who mentioned that. Just installed that and having a look at times. The line-up is amazing for me this year, so cannot wait.

There are showers in the campsite Village (the ones you pay extra for), and according to the map there are normal showers by Gold.... but I suspect they mean in Town |

So, seeing as download is going to be very wet thought it would be worth mentioning our 3 room, 12 person tent.
Only the two of us going, so plenty of room to hide from the rain and have lots of fun. |

Thought ours was big with a 2 room 6 man with carpet and canopy ... prepare for everything and live comfy as you can for 5 days ...

Yeah, saw the forecast last night said it has been raining bad and so there is localised flooding warnings yesterday and today for Leicestershire, likely showers Thursday and Saturday - awwwwesome! 
Still, let's all make the best of it, eh? It's still going to be amazing!!!

grass on track is holding up nicely if that is any indication of elsewhere....
camping trackside, starkeys bridge and mcleans corner all quite solid....all near new showers
will wave at you all coming in as i work away today and tomorrow!
