Hi Guys! There is a huge number of us in sunny Bristol but in the past year there has only been 1 social to my knowledge!if there are lots of you interested i will organize something central(i have a few contacts in the pub/club trade).What do you reacon?!!  |

I spend a lot of time in Bristol (lovely city) and would attend if it was when I am there. However I know one very lovely guy who'd love to meet more Bristol swingers so will let him know about this thread. |

Yeh there was one last summer in a pub in clifton(landlord & landlady where swingers!) It was such a fab night but they moved on so nothing since.I will look into sorting one in the not too distance future x |

Hi all. We live in Bristol and have been members here for a short time but on another site for ages. In the past we have hosted quite a few socials in Bristol with numbers from 30 to over 120 people in attendance. Always interested in events in Bristol be it to attened or even host. As we have hosted previously we know some venues for smaller and larger events so if your interested in our help let us know. Other than that you can put our names on the list for anything you arrange  |

i dont know bristol that well but i guess just need to find somewhere with a function room, find out if costs anything and gather peoples names. just say it is a birthday or some other event.
Then just have people give their name on the door. Would need to find somewhere that had door people so could only go if on the list.
the staff dont need to know its a swingers community, its just a social, we can always organise an after party where more can go on :D
I can't organise this as i dont know bristol well enough but happy to lend a helping hand.

We have been to socials where everyone simply mets up in a suitable large club or bar. No need to hire anything those staying can book hotel nearby and if wishing to play can do so later in their rooms. If the hotel is large enough and has its own bar/club or lounge area then that can even be the venue. You won't have to get a room to come in for drinks.
Any one any ideas? |

We've organised a couple of socials in Bristol so can give the pubs/clubs we used. They were very happy to accommodate us in a seperate area. We did tell them what we were as Mark has been to a couple where the owners didnt know and when they found out they were ejected from the venue.
One particular one asked us if we intended getting naked When we assured her this wasnt the case then she was happy and they gave us free champagne as well! We also know a new hotel which is cheap (It's a Travelodge), it also has quite a number of hen/stag parties so noisy behaviour is expected anyway, and you dont have to go past reception to go to the rooms so need for sneaking people in!

shall we just say a week on sun and choose a place...c'mon cant be tricky sunday 22nd 3pm at.....somewhere big enough to hold us (anyone know) could just exchange some numbers and meet for a pint and chat. social :D |

Have fun. I can't make that date as its the Harbour Festival. The weekend after is the SW social in Burnham on Sea. |

harbour festivals then, thats come round quickly, i can no longer do that weekend anyhow got new training starting, was just a random suggestion. i'll leave it up to someone else to organise.
hope all have fun for when it does get organised (if it does)
