I've seen a few posts now about bareback and why are some people so hateful against those that choose to play bareback at the end of the day if all be agree its up to them |

The reason they get so much hate is because they are so selfish and their selfishness puts everyone else at risk.
If nobody did bareback outside of relationships then the risks of STI’s would be near zero and the infections could be irradiated.
If I have a CJ don break and catch something, it’s highly likely in that chain of infection, the very high majority will be bear backers.

If people bareback and they are open and honest about it they can do what ever they like it's their body
The problem I have is the liars. If someone barebacks random people but tells me they dont and I use a condom I'm still at an increased risk of an std because condoms aren't 100%
I only want to have sex with people who practice safer sex all the time with random people. Limit the risks as much as possible. If they lie I can't make an informed decision.
If they want to risk their health thats up to them but leave me out of it accept the fact I don't want sex with barebackers. Be considerate of a person's choice. Saying you check testing and regularly get tested means nothing, they could have had sex within the last 24hrs with somebody else, and NOBODY gets tested daily.
They then put us at risk because I know alot who do OWO, which is much less likely to transmit an STI but still possible, esp when they do CIM.
Condoms also break and if the other person been barebacking, the safe person is now put at risk. |

If you fuck multiple other people then you'd be a dick not to wear a condom. If you are looking for a long term relationship with another couple which is exclusive then in my book bareback is fine once you are satisfied that it is exclusive on both sides.

To be honest bb isn't really necessary now a days condoms are no longer the ill fitting one size fits all things they used to be, and as for the free ones there generally pretty crap, but if you spend a bit of money I generally use durex thins and I don't even realise I have it on everything feels amazing and from sites like love honey there far from expensive. |

I have been keeping a close tab on this thread. My health comes first and that means no bb. I understand some people are in relationships, and this is fine, as long as they glove up at all times with others. If I was in a relationship I would consider bb after all the relevant tests.

Regular testing of course. Informing sexual partners if you have an std so they can get tested and abstaining from sex until std has cleared so on and so forth. Life changing stds is more complex but it's all responsibility.

The thing with STDs is they don't discriminate from the innocent and the ones in the wrong.

The hateful part for most is the deception and lack of responsibility
If people were honest and allowed someone to make an informed choice, people can decide if they want the increased risk or not. Deceit and lies hurt and in some cases life changing. Can't blame people for wanting to stay safe and you can't blame people for doing what they want with their own body but when it comes to selfish behaviour lying to get a fuck you think someone won't turn to hate?
The cheating spouse who barebacks takes it back to their unknowing partner? Is that not irresponsible and wrong?
Lying to someone saying they always use condoms but barebacks random people so putting the unsuspecting person at increased risk is that not wrong?

It's clearly a controversial subject, and a lot of the replies have here have pretty much proved the OP's point.
Also, as someone else said, there are plenty of other risky practices that people engage in which don't attract the same criticism - it's regarded as their personal interest and respected as such.

I think everyone should be allowed informed choices. This means that Fab should include some sexual health information on profiles. As a minimum this could include 'Always use a condom'; 'Bareback friendly'; 'Regularly tested' (min every three months). Some people will still lie (a bit like 'Fab Straight') but it would help a bit. |

I dont hate those that choose to go bareback. It's their choice. What I do get annoyed about is when people try to use the fact that someone doesnt use condoms for oral as some sort of leverage to instigate bb.

If anyone wants to take the risk of going into a dark room, using a gloryhole or bending over doggy style, then you are increasing your chances of someone slipping it in unprotected...So surely the best way is to either; have a friend with you as you say or dont put yourself in that situation...We dont live in an ideal world so personal responsibility is key.
