I think they're superb fun and I've been interested in these kinky contraptions for ages. Dev is a bit of a Hanna Reitsch in that she'll test pilot whatever is put in front of her. Far better than robot wars any day

Sounds like a scrapheap chaallenge to design and make on ya self does that hmmmm sounds like a good idea as well

We have the Blue Balls machine which I found a little disappointing as it doesnt go fast enough!
Mark spends far too much time in B&Q and has managed to contrive a couple from a drill and reciprocating saw, terrible objects  |

Google "sybian machine hire" and you should find a UK company who hires these machines out. You hire the machine but not the "attatchments" which you have to buy. I think you get one attatchment with the machine which you keep but I think you have a choice of which one you specify. Any extras are then charged for. Might be worth a look if you`re having a party!  |

After toying with the idea of getting one for about a year I finally gave in a couple of days ago and purchased a Monkey Rocker. For anyone who doesn't know about these they are a rocking stool which has been designed so that a dildo can be mounted to a thrust arm which gets driven up and down as you rock backwards and forwards. I think it's a wonderful device, well built, silent almost infinite control over thrust depth and reasonable range of thrust rates. As a bi male I was a little concerned when buy the machine how good it would be but it does a wonderful job.
The only other fucking machine I have seen with this level of thrust to thrust control is the ShockSpot which looked interesting but was way over my price range. |

There's basically three types (full disclosure I used to build the third type)
1/ the strokers, these are based on things like wiper motors etc for the in and out movement.
2/ the wobblers, these are based on gearboxes etc and give the rotation movement.
3/ CNC or computer numerically controlled.
Types 1 and 2 are fine, thanks to PWM modulation you can set a speed you like and they will pretty much stick to that speed with varying "loads" placed on them.
The lovehoney pink bullet set is a nice example of PWM control.
What you can almost never do with these machines ONCE YOU ARE RIDING THEM is change the length of stroke or pattern of stroke etc, you more or less set the stroke length you want, get on, and vary the speed.
With CNC you can have absolute control, move in and out in strokes 10 mm long very slowly teasing the lips, then a long slow stroke to penetrate, etc, so you can replicate exactly what a man or a human with a dildo will do.. motion wise.

What I should really like to caution people about is power, diy toys based on things like car wiper motors and a PWM control can and do generate enormous amounts of power, more than enough to injure, tear and rupture human tissue, and some of the "faster" machines like those based on the reciprocating DIY saw can produce feelings so intense you don't necessarily feel the damage being done until the blood starts flowing.
the hitachi wand and the sybian are two classic examples of things designed very carefully so that it is really quite difficult to injure yourself, they just don't provide a sufficient combination of movement *and* force.
Your DIY creations are unlikely to pay such close attention to potential lawsuits etc...

Ouch on the glass and bauble issue. Got to agree with you though about homemade contraptions out of power tools. I would never let anyone put anythig attached to a drill near my pussy.
The Fucking Machine that we have though is another matter, I love it and always use loads of lube.
Its one of the first type you mention although the CNC ones do sound amazing |
