Hi, hows do most couples feel about bareback on meets?? As a couple we dont have lots of meets or neither do we intend 2 and only play with mature genuine couples. So taking that into account, we are faced with the question of, should we consider bareback???? |

We wouldn't, but feel its a topic that gets a disproportionate response to others (like male bisexuality usually does too, for example).

You may not wish to sleep with lots of people and those you meet may not say they sleep with lots of people, but they may have slept with someone who has.
So, I guess numbers don't really come into it.... as it only takes 1.

We do not bareback on meets with the meets.. we only ever bareback with each-other... whether that me at a meet or on our own...
and we don't think anyone else should.. but its their own choice... its a silly game to play but if you want to do it your gonna do it no matter what people say and what STI/D statistics say. |

as a soft swing couple its never really been an issue with us, but we did play the weekend, and the make half of th ecouple kept begging Em for a fuck, with no condom in sight.
i actually felt physically sick and, if i had heard it at the time, i would have called a stop to proceedings then and there. |

You are both adults.. there are always risks in life.. You do what is right for you... just be honest with people and get yourself checked out.
Sex for me never feels right with a condom on...

Just discuss it and work out what is right for you.

some of the most recent studies of sexually transmitted disease rates have shown marked increases in transmission in just that demographic group. theories vary but speculation is that the causes are that they no longer need contraception for birth control, are often recently separated or divorced later in life and believe that people in their age group are somehow safer because they've been mainly monogamous in their earlier years. clearly they're wrong... |

They make me laugh. Written in profile safe sex, only bareback with partner, and pictures of the female having sex with different guys, noticeable cos the cock colour is different. Unless of course the hubby has two cocks, one black and one white, and if he has then think of the demand they must be in |

We are responsible for our own health and must decide how we practice based on personal view of the risk. Unless you use condoms & dental dams for all oral play & avoid any genital contact before putting on a condom, you take some risk with every encounter.
There is no way to know or trust what your latest partners tells you about their health and previous practices.
Go to your local GUM clinic. They will tell you the facts about the risk of infection. Then you can make an informed decision regarding your own health. A regular check up will assure you that however you decide to play, you are clear at the time of the check. |

Wise words. Scary Fact: Herpes can be transmitted from mouth to genitals, even when there are no visible sores. You can have an outbreak from two weeks to two months of transmission.

Hmmm this is a funny one..
So im guessing your all against bareback???
Do you make the guys wear condoms when you have your meets and perform oral sex on him???
Or dont that bit matter??
Not saying letting loads of strangers cuming in your misses is good, but you gotta be naughty once in a while.
What is the cuck going to clean?....

I think you will be fine as long as you play just with mature genuine couples. I mean everyone knows that STD's are age specific and tend to target fakes. So your logic is flawless and you will be fine - go for it. |

I don't see why this topic gets so heated sometimes. Such choices means people will be into different things sexually, which means chances of a meet are slim to none.

I love it when people use this arguement... and actually laugh in a way because it kinda misses the point people are making....
at the end of the day it is about judging risk...
everything in life has risks..... whether that is crossing a road at a zebra crossing... or crossing the road in a middle of a 6 lane motorway with cars doing 70...
the only true form of safe sex is no sex whatsoever.... condoms are still only 98% safe when used "perfectly" and everything else goes down from there...
so are people against bareback... sure because the risk of catching something is much higher that not using something... catching something thru oral sex is again a much lower risk... so it is all about judging risk... |

We can't have sex with strangers and be 100% safe but we can be as safe as we can make it.
We've had some great times swinging but, in retrospect, none worth dying for.
So its condoms only for us.

It is entirely down to the individuals and how you percieve risk. Alot of people on this thread say they are totally against bareback which is down to thier choices. However we as a couple have done bare back with people we have met more than once.
We only play safe with single men regardless of how many times we may meet them, we play safe first time around with couples but might go bareback if both parties are willing at a later date.
We figure (wether nievely or not) that the risk is much much smaller with couples (not fb) but thats just us |

All sex is a risk if you have multiple sex partners. Going bareback means you place yourself on the highest end of the risk spectrum.
That said, I don't judge people who choose to play bareback. We're all adults with free will and can do what we want with our bodies.
Besides, while having a "No Bareback" policy puts you at the low end of the risk spectrum, it is by no means a guarantee that you're fully protected. It gives you peace of mind that you've taken action to protect yourself. But it doesn't mean you're protected against stuff like genital warts, herpes, etc.., which do not need penetrative sex to be passed on.., especially when you practice oral sex.
On the balance of probability, using condoms is the safest option but for those who choose not to, hope your luck holds up. |

I would say no as there are always risks involved. Some acts of intimacy are more risky than others so you make your own choice. Everyone is after all responsible for their own sexual health but you are also responsible for being honest with others you intend to play with about your past sexual activity and if you have used precautions or not. |

bareback, well. I can understand two married cpls that play together and no other swingers, that do bb. But to randomly play with who ever wid no protection is just askin for bother. the risks are high enough through oral, we all know it feels nicer skin on skin, but it aint worth it. Rubber up ! |

May be good as a confidence booster for those that choose to go bareback, but not really that clever!
There is risk in all sexualy encounters, but that risk can be heavily dependant on how you play. Bareback with multiple partners for full sex is probably the most risky situation there is. Oral without condoms or some other form of protection may be a risk, but it is a much lesser risk and one that people are prepared to take!
That comment about being self righteous is just a smoke screen. It covers that some on here make the informed choice not to cover up because they believe that they can play the odds! Trouble with human nature is we never believe it will happen to us, but life has a way of biting ya bum when you are least expecting it.
But of course, people have free will and they calculate the risks and decide what is best for them! But ask yourself.. How would you feel if you caught something from someone one night and a few weeks later, before your next GUM clinic appointment, you gave it to other people? How would you feel about having to tell them?
Of course, that is assuming you go to GUM clinics! The number on here who say they do, the clinics would be overrun if you extrapolate that across the population! |

Why would anyone even consider bareback especially in a swinging scenerio. Has the effect of HIV infection make no sense atall?
How would anyone even feel getting infected with this death-penalty disease and carelessly or knowingly infecting others?
Please lets make swinging fun and not make it unpopular with barebacking. We not pornstars, are we? |

The risk is as high with couples aswell as with singles. Some couples do not mind barebacking with singles. And when you do meet such couples, your risk go far higher.
As for me, i only do bareback with close buddy after both certified through Gum-clinic and a promise between us we protect ourselves if we do decide to meet others. That in itself is a risk but atleast you tried.

Hypothetical question...
Conditions, you have to have sex with one of the following...
Person 'A' Always uses a condom, goes to swingers clubs every weekend and has full sex with on average with 3 new/different people every week.
Person 'B' never uses a condom but only has sex with 1 new/different person per year.
Which will you choose? and why? |

Re hypothetical question... I'd feel safer with person A. I have friends who have a hell of a lot of sex and I'd still do them because I know they take precautions...
And as you may be able to tell from the above, I always use condoms with anyone who isn't my partner. |

Plus I can bet you've met more couples or played in the scene three times as more than we have in 3 years, do the math! |

These safe-sex v bare-back threads always amuse me. Most if not all end up in fight...
You are bonkers/irresponsible/suicidal etc. if you play bare-back.
People who insist on safe-sex are wonderful pillars of society, will never catch an STI and live forever.
Some one made the comment, '.. and how will you feel when you pass something onto someone else!' Like if you use a condom its impossible for that to happen?
I wouldn't shout the odds about how much safer using a condom is because I don't think anyone really knows.
Now I know everyone has their way of doing it but a typical sexual event with us might involve an hour or two of sexual play but the penis/vagina penetrative fucking part will only be brief part of the whole event.
So with all the body contact, kissing, snogging, licking etc. how does the fucking part figure in terms of additional risk?
A woman might go to a club and suck-off 10 guys but only have penetrative sex with one... what's the risk factor there?
How many of you guys wash your hands before going from fingering one pussy to the next? How many women have a mouth-wash in between sucking one cock to the next?
OK so lets agree bare-back is more risky than using a condom BUT you could be MUCH safer if you considered and protect against cross contamination...
So are you irresponsible/suicidal if you do not wash in between changing partners during a session? |

Those dissing condoms/safe sex ....if no one practised 'safe sex' ....would you feel so safe going bareback knowing that HIV and AIDS is rife? (face it... it would be, just like it is in Africa).
As someone said earlier in the thread ...it only takes one, never a truer word spoken. |

Not able to get it up with a condom on sometimes happen to us blokes, but its what we have to live with. The technique that works for me in that situation is to force the condom on the non-erect or almost half erect penis, then force it inside the pussy and by your 4th to 5th thrust, erection should come automatically. Its not rocket science, its just like reading HELEN SINGER KAPLAN book 'How to Overcome Premature Ejaculation' |

"Some one made the comment, '.. and how will you feel when you pass something onto someone else!' Like if you use a condom its impossible for that to happen?"
That was me and of course I know that infections can be passed even when precautions are taken.. But if you do the quiz of the NHS "checkurself" web site, you will see that protected sex is 98% better than unprotected sex!
"I wouldn't shout the odds about how much safer using a condom is because I don't think anyone really knows."
See above!
"Now I know everyone has their way of doing it but a typical sexual event with us might involve an hour or two of sexual play but the penis/vagina penetrative fucking part will only be brief part of the whole event."
And if a person is infected and hasn't told you or doesn't know, how many times and what duration of sex does it take to infect another?
"So with all the body contact, kissing, snogging, licking etc. how does the fucking part figure in terms of additional risk?"
See above!
"A woman might go to a club and suck-off 10 guys but only have penetrative sex with one... what's the risk factor there?"
See above!
"How many of you guys wash your hands before going from fingering one pussy to the next? How many women have a mouth-wash in between sucking one cock to the next?"
I agree, it does increase the risk, but it is still much less than full penetrative sex. It is all about risk assessment for us and although there are some risks we are prepared to accept, bareback full sex is not one of them.
And it also gives the reason why we don't play with anyone who play full sex bareback! If they get an infection, even if they agree to use condoms with us, they could still pass on an infection...
For those who think that bareback sex with more mature couples and singles is a safer bet? Over the last decade, the over 45's infection rate has doubled to over 13000 cases! The largest growth area of all... |

"Hi, hows do most couples feel about bareback on meets?? As a couple we dont have lots of meets or neither do we intend 2 and only play with mature genuine couples. So taking that into account, we are faced with the question of, should we consider bareback???? " I cant believe that you are asking the question to be honest.... |

"These safe-sex v bare-back threads always amuse me.
For the sake of barebacking and sexing and licking and hornying or whatever that is, you're 'fuckin' bang on order there bro "
It was simply a question for debate, how can that be 'bang out of order'? I wasn't trying to convince anyone of anything, just 'asking' a question
No one can argue that using a condom is not safer, stands to reason that it is to a greater or lesser degree.
The fact of being an active swinger typically results in having sexual activity with a multitude of different partners. Essentially its a sexually promiscuous life style which is absolutely NOT practicing safe-sex.
What is 'bang out of order' is people shouting the odds about safe-sex when the only part of the principal of sex-sex that engage in is using a condom.
Everything else they do by the fact of leading a sexually promiscuous life style is NOT safe-sex |

I did say last time that I would not comment on such threads again, however...
There is more than one innoculation route with bacterial infections and viruses. There's also a route via the nasal linings and the eye. You have only to inhale droplets (poss. liquid ingress into nostrils) or wipe your eye to effect transmission. This is the same for a cold (Rhinovirus) as any other. Viruses and bacteria are much smaller than cells for a specific reason! I think that it is possible that there is more than one route that leads to rome, as these are areas where blood vessels lay close to the surface and viruses bacteria and the like have a possible entry route.
Without the opinions of a specialist it's purely guesswork. I should add at this stage that I do believe a condom is the best of a bad job (hence thankfully it's widespread advocacy) to avoid transmission, but it is by no means absolute, and as I have said before to dwell on the medical histories of others would be a big turn-off and make me seriously contemplate non-involvement, even when playing safely using such prophylactics.

many a truth has been said in jest ...
most remarks about bareback in these forums concentrate on STD's ...
very rarely do they consider the 'other issue' of egg fertilisation |

I think even if someone is playing safe and only using condoms and swinging then its a bit risky... I do on occasion play bare... But I've also got implant and take the pill.

"We go with the flow, if all are happy bare it is."
We have to agree with Agracar.
If everyone is happy with it then we see no problem with going bare.
We know its a risk but so is crossing a busy road. |

Of course its a risk. Before being married both of us slept with many partners over the years without any problem whatsoever. On the other hand I was in a road accident which took me to the very brink.
Since beginning swinging we have enjoyed bareback sex on a few occasions when the mood takes us & will probably again (any sexy couples feel free to say hi at this point).
On at least one other occasion condoms have burst.
Its all a matter of chance. |

If you're having sex with different people regularly, i just can't see the logic in having unprotected sex. Far too risky for my liking.
I hate condoms but better to be safe(r) than sorry. |

No doubt someone on the site will give you a specific answer but as I am sure you already will have realised it is less risky than unprotected full sex but not without some risk.
The safest sex of all is of course simply fantasy. |

"So how unsafe is it for a partner to have 2 men cum in her mouth???(fantasy of mine)?"
not sure that you can assess the risks in the count of its "x" amount.. but for instance I must have had hundreds of guys cum in my mouth in the last year.. and not had a single issue.
Its all about what is right for you.. its more risky than no one else cumming in her mouth, but Not really much more than having oral unprotected.. as the mouth has saliva which helps.
