Well said according to some research (not sure where) Muslims are in every country of the earth so they come in all colours/races etc

Stereotypically Muslims are seen as Asian in the UK same way I suppose Christians were once seen as brown skinned Palestinians during the life of times of a carpenter from galilee

I wonder how someone's religion affect the selection criteria in fabs.

Surely if they are here, they are able to take part in whatever activities this site offers.

I don't really ask for my meet's religion during my meet.

We might have talked about it during the meet, but more by chance.

Is it the clothing attire (hijab etc)?

I doubt that it was meant to come across as biased. I assume that they had thought that the op was attracted to the stereotypical Muslim; (being Asian) opposed to merely their faith.
