Wonderful timing this & hope peeps don't mind me "spilling out" but.
My ex-wife died on Monday after suffering a brain hemorrhage a few days before. She was bipolar and undiagnosed while we were together, her doctor was shit & kept saying there was nothing wrong with her. Anyway we renewed contact six years ago via FB but after chatting said we'd stick to commenting on each others posts & "li_ing" stuff as we are both remarried, there was no animosity, it is what it is was our view.
During our chats she said she loved Linkin & crawling was such a great track so fitting for her.
ATM mine would have to be One more Light for obvious reasons, I'm still shedding tears on & off now & my insomnia has come back with a vengeance.
She was 48yrs old, life is just too fuc_ing shitty sometimes..

Christ I’m sorry to hear that. That post has moistened my eyes...
I was about to post about how “Crawling” is an anthem for mental health issues such as depression/bi-polar. Which are not talked about nearly enough.
The industry I now work in sees the tragic and brutal end result of these conditions all too often.
My thoughts are with you. X |

I really like seeing how linkin park has helped people, or people have somehow found comfort in the lyrics. I seen them in cardiffs CIA when i was a teenager was the first and only time glad i got the opportunity! Brad delson gave away a guitar at that concert too! |

When Hybrid came out my first thoughts were "Fuck, someone has issues".
We are both awake now & Tyson Fury will be entertaining us for a few minutes at least

I lost a friend too depression last year, to put it mildly she got dealt a bad hand on many occassion, in the end she threw herself off a bridge, it hurt more cos i was trying to help at the time and dispite knowing she was in a horrible place it still hurt as i thought i was getting somewhere with her and it just happened, i dont think you get over losing someone very close, wether it be family or a very close friend, i think what happens is with time we just learn to live with it, im sorry for your loss btw |

In the end and now a days one more light. I think it's such a shame that Chester helped so many people with his/their songs but nothing could save him from how he felt. |

I’ve never really been a huge fan, though Hybrid Theory and Meteora definitely played a big part in my life during my skater days.
I spent a few hours with Mike Shinoda in August and he’s a really chilled & humble guy. He was a very calming and easy person to be around. We had a really open conversation about what he’s going through in regards to Chester, and life in the music industry in general. It really made me rethink my attitude towards Linkin Park. I might revisit their stuff some time soon |
