I know this sounds like a silly question, but there seems more fascination with asses and anal than I remember when young. So has anal come into fashion, so to speak? |

Not so much in fashion, but not taboo anymore.
Upto around the 80’s oral sex was taboo.
Then around late 90’s anal stopped being taboo.
Now most recently watersports is apparently one of the top 5 most common fetishes.
It’s just as time goes, society is getting more liberal. I also think each generation seems to actively break a taboo of the previous. |

I never knew anal had gone out of fashion lol - I am unashamedly an ASS man - both male or female (well I am bisexual lol) - it is not for everyone, but every female I know and have been fortunate to meet sexually, have wanted anal sex - I not say much about the men lol hehehehe  |

nothing in sex is ''in fashion'' if it can be done then its been done and for 1,000s of years ..the romans were good at kinky and please stop insulting us women by claiming 50 shade has done this n that cause its done nothing but ruin alot ..50 shades of crap the stuff in there books n films has been in porn since the 60s |

I watched a documentary some years ago on a gay couple.
It was sad because one of the guys died of anal cancer.
Hence I don't let no one touch my anal passage.
Its a poo hole after all

As far as I know it is HPV infections which principally increases the risk of anal cancers. Hopefully with the current vacination programme this should be significantly reduced in future generations. |

50 shades of shit has caused massive problems, mainly through people using it as a how to guild, missing all the lessons learned that they would have got if they had spent more time researching and learnt from the bdsm community.
But it is well accepting that after each film there is a massive surge of newbies, mainly women, hitting the bdsm scene.
As for anal sex causing cancer, I’ve never heard this, I very much doubt it’s true at all, but happy to read any publications on it.
Rectal cancer is unfortunately very common and I’ve never heard there’s a statistically significant link to anal sex.
