Help please.
How do I approach this minefield as I think I have fucked up meeting a simply stunning woman as I am not sure how to ask what physical stages someone who has TV/TS on.
Please don’t hammer me guys, I am trying to learn. |

A TV (Transvestite) is Man who dresses as a woman, so if you like Cock then fill your boots.
A TS (Trans Sexual) is a woman who was once a Man! So if you like to put your Cock where a Cock once was, then fill your boots.
But given that your profile says "Straight" I would suggest that you are in that Egyptian River (Denial).

You'd need to clarify with them if they are tv or ts as there's quite a lot of difference.
After that it's a lot easier.
BROADLY speaking...
TV will identify as a man who adopts a female persona and will feminise their looks when in the other persona.
Whilst a TS is someone who was born in the wrong body and does not identify at all as the gender they were born in. They will go out of their way to fully live as they feel they really are, leading many to hormonal and even physical surgery to correct the matter.
Broadly speaking.
It's a bit of a minefield.

I’m also interested in this just for general knowledge. The person could be in different stages of transition if TS and if it was a potential meet I think both parties should know what’s up.
Also, TS is men or women that identities as the other gender. Not just men to women. |

Just ask, it should not be a problem unless they are so far up their own arse.
It's not a simple binary choice, so for example someone could be living and presenting as a woman but have had no surgical procedures or be on hormones but still have A GRC certificate which is a legal document.
It's illegal to ask someone to produce it. |

My question was simply about how more info I can get about an area I know little about will allow me not to upset someone I found stunning and had no reason to try and upset them.
I consider myself to be bright and articulate but I still managed to upset someone with a question about apperience and I didn’t want that. |

As you said, it is a minefield and some get very upset about some trivial things.
My view is that if someone is respectful and asking questions out of genuine interest then I will answer them - it is good for the community in general.
But, we don't know what you asked and also don't know what you are looking for. I get some truly awful and vulgar messages, but it sounds like you're not that sort of guy.
Your best bet is to apologise unreservedly and try to explain you didn't mean to offend but lack of knowledge in T* matters has let you down. Perhaps ask if she would educate you so that you don't make the same mistake again. |

I'm a tranny, ie I like to wear women's clothes and makeup. I go the whole hog, and try to look as much LIKE a woman as I can. I am not TS, so NEVER think I AM a woman. I'm also married, so some things should be obvious, I feel. I am not offended by questions like:
Are you bi?
Does your cosk work?
Are you on hormones?
Do you like your cocktouched/wanked/sucked

Further, if Fab were to break the genders down from TV/TS, into Transvestite, Pre-op Transsexual, Post-op Transexual or Crossdresser on profiles, it might help. |

How about maybe,not asking. Not asking about her physical attributes just yet,get to know her first. You may find your curiosity is satisfied during the course of conversation without having to ask the question directly. |
