I can’t speak for anyone else but for as long as I can remember I’ve always preferred men older than myself.
Weird but I think it stems from my parents being 19 years apart in age & their relationship is wonderful!
I’ve never gone for anyone younger than me and find it hard to go for anyone exactly my age either. |

Probably because it's not very often those social circles interact. I mean it's rare for me to talk to anyone over 30 in a social setting. You tend to move with people your own age. |

This is very true.
Another reason for me definitely which I mentioned the other day elsewhere.
My social circle is mostly under 30 and mostly non white, so on here I look for the complete opposite.
It’s certainly not a fantasy for me and definitely a preference. |

Younger people are usually more attractive arent they, it makes a change from being with people your own age, something different, reminds you of when you were young. Sometimes young people are less cynical, more optimistic. |

My usual preference is for young guys but that said I'm having a whale of a time on holiday both with the teen gardeners and at a naked BBQ where the guys were aged into their 70's.
So I guess for me all work in the right circumstances |

Your question is about fantasies and yes all people have fantasies, both vanilla and sexual, the drivers are usually rooted in what is perceived as unobtainable or an early influence that shaped something idealistic.
If a fantasy is achievable in any way, so long as it is safe sane and legal then life is too short not to do something that makes it comes true.
We have a 35 yr age gap and happily live our fantasies as happy realities together  |

Mad about older women, its the tabboo, the experience, the looks, shape and intelectual stimulas. It seems so wrong but feels so right. Especially when they groan in orgasm with that mature voice. mmm  |

I prefer to date/meet older women not because it’s some fantasy I’m wanting to fulfill, but because I prefer their company. I get on well with girls in my age group, but I feel more of a connection/attraction with someone older than me. My friends say I’m older than I really am, but I say I’d rather be with someone I click with on an intellectual/maturity level and that, in my experience, has been with women older than me. |

Always dated a similar age, so much younger or older would be new. New things are the unknown and exciting. Sometimes things aren’t as good as you imagine, but you never knew till you try |

All about personality for me . I am still feeling like I did in my mid twenties. So I can get on really well with younger women who like older men . Particularly in role play scenarios that are solely about younger women and their enjoying older men etc .. that being said I also enjoy the company of women of my own age .. maybe they give me a bit of a feeling of grounding and being me back to earth |

Both of us have been luck enough to have experience both younger and older. We've both come to the same conclusion it not so much of an age thing as just being on the same wave length as the person your with at the time! |

Dating younger people can be a double edged sword.....
The good - they are full of energy and very spontaneous
The bad - when speaking to them about certain subjects... you can feel old at times...
The ugly - break ups take longer to end and they can become very clingy |
