Now then..as nobody else seems to have mentioned this..I will..
Was at chams..very recently and up until now I thought I was pretty unshockable..
But..no..!!!
There was a very elderly lady there..looked to be in her 80's..no really..!!!
She had mobility problems and needs assistance to get up the stairs...
NO judgements from me but general reaction in the club ...well horror and outrage..so what do you think..??
Game old bird..?? Or just plain wrong..??  |

Was at Chams a while back and experienced a similar situation, at the time we thought what the hell was going on. But later, on reflection, we thought hey if we are still capable at that age and others are still willing to play with us bring it on! |

I can't think of what would be wrong about it so I can't comment yet. I'll try to think of what could possibly be wrong about it and then get back to you. Or maybe you could explain to me what was wrong about it? Was she there against her will ? |

If she still wants it and whats to go and get it... it's her decision not mine or anyone elses.
Once other people have a say in this sort of thing the road very quickly takes you to... and they are too ugly ... and they are too fat... and they are too thin ...and they are too old even though they are not as old as her... and they are too old because they just look it... and he is too short and he has a leg missing... and she's got a scar... and ...

hmmm i have mobility problems at the mo and if the stairs are as steep as the newport one i even needed help getting up them at one point ...shouild i stay at home and not inflict myself on other more able bodied playmates then ?? |

The lady in question no longer attends Chameleons due to the fact that it took her over 10 mins to get up and down the stairs and she is a fire and health and safety risk!!
Mind you, I got used to the perving whilst waiting in the queue to get up the stairs! |

The only thing we would think wrong is people having negative reactions to her.
What courage,will power and a fantastic attitude to life,its to be commended.
As Dylan Thomas said "Do not go gently into that good night.Rage,rage against the dying of the light!".
Good luck to her we say,you go for it girl where ever you are.

For us we just say it as it is, always going to cause a bit of miff for some folk, but most folk on here like a polite debate after all thats what the forums are all about |
