However I did get angry on behalf of all transwomen, a social group with an astronomical attempted suicide rate mainly because of the gauntlet of casual transphobia that we have to run every single day of our lives. It's an attitude that is so ingrained into society that most people don't even know they're doing it, and when it's pointed out just say "it was just a bit of fun, don't be so sensitive".

All transwomen have to start somewhere, we've all been through the stage of not being able to shave body hair because it would out us, and not having enough make up skill to cover beard shadow. There are going to be a good number of starting out TVs on this site who are just trying to find a bit of company, and yes have a sex life, in a society that hates them for even existing. Postings like the original message don't help, and yes can even contribute towards killing people.

To me it was akin to someone pointing out grammatical errors, spelling mistakes etc in an ops post criticising grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.
