Okay, I’ll finally admit.

Used one at a company I visit. They save waiting 30 seconds for the kettle to boil I suppose, but however they got approved as safe is beyond me. They look like a normal tap, but dispense boiling water, what could possibly go wrong? ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

"The hot and cold works like a normal tap but to activate the boiling water you have to give the collar a double pump and twist, so it acts like a child lock. "
That sounds safer, the one I've used, you just press a little lever! |

Oh blimey! No, anything like Quooker and Zip etc. are engineered to make them as safe as possible. So far I’ve not heard any horror stories about people injuring themselves but I guess there’s always that one person who would perform a d*unken jig next to their dishwasher with all of their sharp knives stood up in the basket. So I suppose there’s always a small risk but then that’s probably equal to someone sticking their head over the spout of a kettle as it boils. |

Haha true. My only experience of one comes from a works kitchen, were it isn't obvious what it is.... |

Yup, exactly how you do it,
Nothing like an experienced hand to make things work the way they were meant too... |
