I had a vasectomy last April whilst in an assumed longterm relationship.we split last November and I've been single but for a few hook ups since..
My problem is since I had it I no longer stay fully erect, this was never a problem before.i don't even get morning wood these days.
My solution was docs and visors,Id just like to speak with anyone else who has either suffered similar or taken viagra for personal reasons. |

I had snip 16 yrs ago. Slight loss of volume and thicker now. I do have more difficulty getting hard and staying hard. A cock ring works perfect for me. Usually only on meets and at clubs |

"I heard it doesn't make a vas deferens "
You hear all sorts about the procedure and after effects.
Having spoke to many about this it turns out it effects others in different ways.
I have been told the small operation hurt like hell was painful and uncomfortable for weeks. Others say it was an easy simple procedure. I luckily had no problems with my operation at all. No pain just a little discomfort for a few days.
Depends on your luck |

Had my op 20 years ago and have no side effects.
My erections are as strong as ever, volume of liquid emasculated was slightly thinner for the first couple of years but either I have got used to it or its thickened up.
Sex generally got better with .you ex wife as there was no longer a fear of unwanted pregnancy.
Overall very glad I had the op. |

Hi Harry
I think its also possible for it to be a physiological thing, as I had my vasectomy 20 years ago and ever since, my sexual appitie rose immensely, which why when my first wife suggested we join a swinging site, I jumped at it
ED is common though, so don't be ashamed of asking your doctor for help and advice, as despite what I said above, I went through bad time at my divorce and had trouble with ED, my doctor was brill and prescribed me Cialis and it did the trick
Good luck and don't stress

If you look at the number of men who have ED and the number who have a vasectomy - both relatively large numbers, by the law of chance it'll occur in some men
I don't see any evidence it's any more common than ED in patients who haven't had a vasectomy and that's the key comparison not whether ED occurs at all
I'd definitely back up the see the GP advice |

Had it nearly 6 months ago. No side effects at all. Sorry can't offer any advice, other than I have heard and read that whilst not always, in many cases it can be more psychological? |

Had mine 6 years ago ,first 12 months were hit and miss so to speak after that all seems pretty much as if nothing had been changed ...personally I'd go see a doctor tell him/her what's going on and take it from there ..as from this post we've all experienced different reactions to vasectomy...for peace of mind see doc |

I'd say it's more psychological than anything physical. I had mine 20 yrs ago now and if anything it increased my horn... Maybe it was due to the fact I could relax about certain things.

"Did you have the snip on NHS or did you have to go private? Wondering as I'm thinking about having it done."
I had mine done through the NHS and suffered no ill effect.
OP, get yourself along to your GP. |

I had mine done 7 years ago, with no side effects at all; I still get erections without any drugs being required, and I still deliver a good amount of ejaculate, more than once with the right person
It'll mostly be psychological mate; that nagging doubt in your head that you're 'not a man anymore'. Just ignore it and enjoy yourself, the more you think about it, the worse it will be |

Had mine don't at my GPS on a Friday at lunchtime. Quick operation under local anaesthetic back home within a couple of hours and back that to work on Monday.
Uncomfortable with light bruising but no worse than a sports injury.
Couple of sperm tests over a six month period to ensure it had worked.
Recommended but do your own research
