We'd have thought so too, but why would an Education institution be copying peoples pictures?

to be honest i put it on as i thought someone had been hit by some institution or outed by a media company ...i saw nothing wrong with a hands off statement ...its simply the same as warning institutions that if they are not legitimate users of various boards or peer to peer groups they were in breach of various laws ...expecially in the states where finacial penalties are greater if they breach you civil liberties ...the law was brought in by president clinton |

Hi, Having had some of our Pix stolen on another site & misused by the thief, we think it prudent to have the warning on our profile....
OK, it may not prevent misuse in the future.... But....it might just stop some moronic asshole from nicking our Pix.
Apart from that, we are fairly new on Fabs..... & we kinda like it.

Yeah we do... but the Pic stealing was a nasty experience & we cudn`t do anything about that... however we can at least " Block " single guys....
Amazing really how many peeps don`t actually read the profiles properly ie. smokers messaging non smokers etc.

We have seen on other swinging pay sites a similar warning, however these sites have the financial means to back up this statement.
We couldn't agree more with respect to the non-smokers contacting smokers. The amount of times that we have had to explain that we will not meet non-smokers!
Most completely miss the point that it is not enough explaining that they do not mind us being smokers, leaving us with the sense that they believe it is "their" right to decline!!!
It has always staggered us that most non-smokers refuse to share a meal with smokers in a vanilla setting, but are very happy to as long as it leads to sex, very odd??

The biggest problem I see with that warning is...
If you dont want to be exposed as a swinger (however it is done - pic stealing, name/likness used etc etc) then you are harldy going to want to go to court to prosecute someone for ingnoring your warning are you??!!
Seems pretty pointless to me tbh. |
