If i was looking for a partner, then i am likely to be won over by their personality over time and fall for them as a person.

people go on looks first as dont know you . Nail on the head here I think. As single fellas on here we are in the majority and as such face 'stiff' competition. As much as one poster said they couldn't shag Quasimodo if they had the best personality in the world I'm sure the same could be said if someone was stunning but completely obnoxious with it. Is that just on this site or life in general?
If I go out for a meal Im most likely going to choose the restaurant that looks good and is clean, when the food comes it's most likely gonna look appetising, it's only when I eat it that I'll know whether it's good or not. Only good food will end up bringing me back.
There's got to be an attraction to get to the personality, but at the end of the day it's the personality that matters (or amazing sex lol). |

You wouldn't believe the amount of abuse I have had off men for saying I don't want a photo, then when they realise I am asking for a totally "blind" meet, despite my having stated it within my profile, they get even nastier! Love the block button.

plus guys/cpls judge women by looks alone ..how meny times have there been posts from ladies saying guys/cpls have turned em down saying they were too big ,too skinny, too tall ect or after sending a face pic ! its personal perference .

As some others have said, when the ultimate aim of this site is to have sex, personality doesn't count an awful lot for many. You get one shot to impress and if you don't then there's generally no going back. It's really quite difficult to get your true personality across in a single message or even in several messages as the written word can often be misinterpreted.
