.....a year ago (yes, I know, I've only been on the site 6 weeks.....this time around)....the forum was filled with laughs a plenty, lots of tongue in cheek posters, namely shagaloony, peaches, fabio, et all) and a really good atmosphere.
What's changed? |

I could answer that in my opinion, but I'd probably get barred!
I THINK some of it has to do with what I call 'walk through swingers', those that come on, try the forums, try the chat rooms, can't get a meet, clear off.
They can be stroppy and whingy because it's not a quick shag site and it affects the rest of the forums.
People will settle with time and the forums 'hopefully' will get back to their riotious selves!
The rest of the reasons are unprintable.  |

It could be that some don't know when people are having a joke and a bit of banter and they bite back and spoil the fun  |

Seriously, we had a hard core section of forumites when the forums first started 2+ years ago. We created the Pussy Posse and the boys gang, but with bannings, marriages, leavings and general life, the forumites change and so does the 'feel' of the place.
The Pussy Posse parties are always well attended and thats when people start posting again, but we have to hold their interest. After all, even I (old trout that I am) can go days without posting cus there's nothing I want to comment on.

might not be related but when we joined when we used to log on to fab there was a maximum of 1500 ppl logged on now
thats now trebled
too many cooks springs to mind

I personally find that lots of new people are a good thing.
There are newbies who want to join in and banter with the oldies and I think that is a good thing.
No one person or group are better than anyone else.
The forums for me were a scary place before someone decided to hijack them.
Now they are fun most of the time.
I love the banter, the serious debates that shows some very intelligent people on here, and the range of people that join in.
They are all good for me.

I have only been here a few weeks but despite the inevitable peaks and troughs, I think it's a pretty happy place.
I do think that like any social dynamic, its the 80/20 rule - in this case 20% of the forumistas produce 80% of the content. If only a couple of them are away fro a few days, the momentum and mood drops. |

Nothing fundementally had changed, there are just more and more people who want to impose their views and opinions upon others and on their head be it if they dare to disagree with them.
Or to look at it another way - too many people take themselves and the swinging lifestyle far to fucking seriously |

I must admit that we don't post as much as we did a few months ago - the atmosphere in the forums seems to have changed a little, quite a bit of nastiness and I have to admit that some people are allowed to get away with murder whilst others who are far less offensive are castigated - just my view but some times it's still good fun.Z |

Agrees with gem... when we join was nice not so hetic and you got meets, now loads just try and perv your profile ask for friends invites and if u decline u get nasty mails and abuse...chatrooms have changed as well...sighs...but isnt that life all changes ? helen |
