Getting Recognised

I like to think I'm pretty unrecognisable when I dress up and do my makeup, yet I've have two friends tell me they have "stumbled across my fab profile" 
Anybody else have stories about being recognised on here? |

An old friend told me they'd seen my profile on here, my reply was "so what are you doing on here?"
Doesn't bother me, since then a few have reached out on here to say we know each other, I'm fine with it so far. |

Often people recognise a possible likeness that can then be confirmed by the regular distance away and/or the individual’s tattoos. If you’re fine with it then no problem. If you are likely to be upset at being spotted then there are alterations you can make to your photos or profile to help protect your identity. |

i seem to have an uncanny ability to find people I work with on here. Thankfully all discrete, even chat to 2 of them regularly.
Then there was one incident where a cousin messaged me. Didn't know til swapping face pics. Instant block. Nope nope nope.
Personally I've never been recognised that I know of. |

I had someone recognise me. We got chatting and hooked up lol
Should get more people recognising me as I go to a swingers club semi regularly and want the in person verifications that have eluded me so far lol |

We were spotted in one of our local pubs , the couple mailed us the next day to ask if it was us and we confirmed it was , turns out we share a few drinking spots with them so no doubt will bump into them very soon |

I’ve said this before but my former partner and I were in Chameleons in Darleston she was on the swing and I was fucking her when I got a tap in the shoulder , I turned round to find a former colleague from work. He shook my hand and started talking about work, I just responded as if we were meeting for business reasons. I suppose it’s just learned behaviour. Never heard anything about it

People have messaged telling me they saw me walking my dogs which I always find a little strange ha.
I have had one person fully come up to me in Asda I simply said that's nice and walked off.
I would never approach someone in public out of the blue or message them to say I had seen them.
I think it's a little weird but my face is public so I I can't really complain  . |

Only once I think. We were in a popular Swedish furniture shop and I see a couple looking over at us with grins on their faces talking quite animated to each other and pointing over at us. When they see me look the male half nodded at me after about 5 minutes I realised where I knew their faces from. That was quite fun.
I think being recognised isn't that bad, it's just when people approach and say something inappropriate when your with family or friends. |

Oh my goodness this actually happened unexpectedly just before lockdown in a random unplanned meet in a public lay-by at night
I was fully dressed en femme as well and even more spooky was I was 2 hrs from home but I thought I recognised his voice, it was dark but as soon as he spoke, but he didn’t recognise me as it was dark and hopefully I was quite convincing
It’s was a amazing experience, I’ll tell more if I get chance |

There is always a chance it may happen. My view is that if they saw me on here they have not got much to say against me have they? |

I'm lucky. I'm pretty forgettable and average looking. Plus, I don't give a shit. Not like I have reputation to ruin myself. Even if I did recognise someone I wouldn't say I did openly. A lot of people like to be discrete and I can respect that. |

I recognised a MF couple from here while shopping in Derby before Christmas. Never actually met them through Fab but they’re always VERY popular on photos/videos (even as recently as today!). It was like spotting a celebrity couple!
Obviously didn’t say anything, just minded my own business but had a wry smile on my face around HMV…! |

Pretty easy when there's no others... I just expect a person to be mature about it.. those who have recognised me unfortunately haven't been
But it's a UK thing..lack of understanding reality and fantasy and that some people don't need to create a fake alternative of the two, and they are actually the same in typing as they are in person. |

Recognised the female part of a couple that was quite popular in the cam rooms (now no longer a couple and left fabs) and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a local couple in a car park, just as I was turning off my car they were getting in theirs. Shame that they blocked single males  |

Not anyone I know on here. But have bumped into the male half of a couple I met dogging in a pub (saw each other in the pub - not dogging there!) And also saw his wife at an event a few months later. Both times we gave each other a happy smile, knowing look and left it at that. If I recognised someone, depending on how I knew them, I might message them on here. But would totally leave them be in public. |

Totally respect all the views and comments about “well if you are recognised then why are they on here as wel”
My only issue is, I’m obviously complete dressed up all en femme lady like secretarial style xx

I was having a meal in a local pub with two of my adult children and divorced ex wife, all quite tense with small talk. Unknown to me a couple who I had played with a few times at a club forty miles away were seated behind me. They messaged afterwards fortunately to say they were going to say hi but could see
things were not good with my ex. Could have been explosive. |
