Anyone else get a massive ick when presented with a list of rules on someone’s profile?
I understand the need for women to do it given we’re overloaded with simple men sending simple messages on this site however it smacks of huge arrogance and it’s likely it will continue regardless of whether you list your Top 10 of “what not to do because I’m so special” vibe 
Too may 5’s who think they’re a 10 here!

No issue with that whatsoever. The issue is mainly with people setting rules about how other people contact them, which by definition are likely to have zero effect anyway as it’s THEIR choice to do that |

Couples and females inboxes are more often than not overflowing with messages. There has to be some way of sorting the wheat from the chaff. If someone can't A read a profile and B send a message within the parameters laid out then.... if your're complaining about "rules" then maybe look at yourself to a degree: are your messages the sort of messages that people have set up these rules to try and avoid? |

Well ours is a rule... if you're not hung we won't be play.
Seems to work for us, yes hop n catch someone tries their luck but it keeps messages down.
We used to have a fair few... that was for requirements for specific roles, it changes and so do our rules. We have less now and yes we get more Messages as more people meet our criteria ... isn't that the point?

I agree with the 5s that think they're 10s,but that's just my opinion. I'm not bothered by long rules, as it's unlikely I'd want to meet anyway (some I'm likely to fall asleep reading them).but this is the wonderful world of fab and everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and expectations. |

Although it's rare a man reads my profile text (unless it has sexual overtones), I like to be clear about what I'm not looking for and am looking for.
If they ignore it and still message I feel better about ignoring and deleting their messages. I used to reply to all messages, but now I don't.
If it icks someone out, then they aren't the one for me.

I don't have a list because I think I'm special.
I'm being clear about my requirements and preferences, to save people time.
If I said I love sex and am looking for someone who is a 7-10 to have it with then I'd be inundated. I'd then have to ask many questions to see If they fit my requirements.
I'm a 5, by the way, but that doesn't deter the 7-10s. |

Doesn't really matter what you put in your profile,most people don't really bother to read it. They just look at the pics,then wink at you or worse still,try to add you as a friend,without even chatting first. 99% of all we receive gets deleted at a quick glance. |

Personally I'd give myself a 4 on a good day, some may say higher, some lower.
Either way I've chatted to and met some amazing people on here.
Don't think being a 1 or a 10 makes much of a difference, I'd like to think my attitude and personality definitely helps, might even bump me up to a 6!!  |

the whole point of preference and rule is to turn those away that your not interested in its that plain and simple no couple or women are her to sdhag anything nobody are the same or hjave the same likes and dislikes ..

I don't have rules on my profile as such, more guidelines like no unsolicited cock pics or friend requests, no one word messages and show a bit of respect.
The fact I have to actually specify that speaks volumes.
Like manufacturers putting a label on a hairdryer to say don't use in the shower! |

When a really respectful nice guy messages us and apologises in advance if he causes any offense by contacting us!
People are getting slated all the time for doing things their own way so much so they are apologising in advance! How ridiculous is that?!
It's not OK to shame people, in any shape or form! It can be devastating on people's mental health!
Why can't people just let people do their own things without making a huge damn drama out of it?

I actually prefer a man's profile to have some preferences or rules. Actually gives me some information about whether we would be compatible and shows some personality.
I may only be a '5' but I have standards and don't want a guy that will literally fuck anything with a hole. |

My profile is long but specific and to the point. My lists of likes is checked and my interests and pictures and verifications are there.
If someone can't read or doesn't have the time.. then I'm definitely not their type.. they like minimum standards and basic desperation..im not her...
there's ZERO REASON and zero chance I will waste my time giving them any opportunity or response other than an instant block.

To us we wouldn't even rate you a 5 from the pics on your profile but to others you may be an 7 or an 8. We have a few rules on who we will reply to but as you are a male you will never know the amount of rubbish us couples and females get in our inboxes sometimes you have to set boundaries |

I'm a big believe in "live and let live" so it's not for me to say whether people should or shouldn't. I have no idea what their experience is and hopefully it works for them.
However, I don't have rules and switch off as soon as I see a list of rules. I have a real issue with living in someone else's boxes so don't even try.
My kinda people are like me... They take as they find; they don't judge; they like to get to know the person under the persona; they find the fun in any situation; they say "fuck it, let's do" more than their parents would probably like.

I actually quite like it. To me it indicates that they are either experienced, or have at least put a lot of thought into this. It shows me that they know exactly what they want and where I stand with them. It means I won't be wasting my time or theirs.

Read it and like it or dislike it, that’s up to you but it saves a lot of wasted time and on fab there is a lot of time wasters for sure . People have their own rules because they like things that way they like it, if you don’t like it then keep scrolling . |

Some rules can go on and on, so much you don't know how to approach things. What I find worse is the check list of dares, challenges almost notches like; would like to do mmf, mmmf, stranger blind fold, pick up in a bar, coming home with no knickers, find a guy to xyz with in public. If you want to do something horny, just chat about it and get on with it. |

Nope, I'd much prefer I know what they are and aren't looking for, rather than a 2 line bio that tells me nothing.
Mine is pretty clear, if it puts people off then it's worked.
People can ask for whatever they choose to, on their profiles, others don't have to like it or get in touch if it's not for them. |

Preferences and what they’re attracted to is ok, that’s normal. It’s the rules of how to contact them for example “you must have done a backwards somersault and said rainbow 5 times” or “don’t just say how are you I am so much more special than that and worth so much more”
