As a naturist I would say that there is definitely a modest trend toward the return of pubic hair for women.
Ten years ago, regardless of age, shape, size, ethnicity, gender etc, no pubes to be seen anywhere on anyone it seemed.
On more recent nude holidays and visits to beaches though I am starting to see an increasing number of women sporting neat trims or even the full bush.

I've never been fussed about someone else's shaving/waxing whatever routine haha.
As long as they're comfortable that's all that matters to me.

What I hope is becoming fashionable, is not being looked down upon or subjected to rude comments for how you choose to have your body hair. It's all about personal choice.
I like body hair, especially on men and love having pubic hair myself. Never had any complaints but I don't like being fetishised for having it.
