Can't believe in this day and age people still meet others (often lots, gangbangs etc) and insist on bareback, these people are complete strangers and each has no idea how 'clean each potential s.t.I carriers are............just my opinion ! |

What I find more shocking, is that this day and age, people are unaware of what a GUM clinic is and that so many swingers have never had a STI check.

Yeah STI checks are essential. I have them pretty regularly as it is but mainly because people don't seem to realize oral transmission can take place.
I have also seen way too many mad nights on cam and confessions of blackouts to feel like I could be bareback with anyone here. It really is asking for an early death or risking it certainly.
I think that is why I prefer playing with people who do not get wrecked on meets. Just a basic survival instinct kicking in.

I got a message from a fully verified lady today that said " do you fuck with out a condom ? " . I said "no" and her reply was " you're loss lots of men do" . My reply was "its no loss to me whatsoever GOODBYE "

i agree, i have seem a few on here, mainly couples who claim they have never gone bare with anyone apart from each other, not even as a teenager before they met

There comes a point in all our lives where we meet the one special person I don't know anyone who goes for a check before removing rubbers for the 1st time. With that in mind we are lucky to play with a married guy regular who is unlucky with his wife's sex drive and can safely play unprotected with Lou it makes it another Dimension for us all, if we play elsewhere though its rubber up !! Patience searching for the right people can reap rewards . |

Completely disageee with that. I know several people (myself included) who have done exactly that. My last 2 relationships we both went for full check ups after becoming monogomous... then checked again a few months later and only then stopped using condoms. And as I said I know of friends who have done the same. |

I became sexually active in the mid- seventies when safe sex meant don't do it on the edge of a cliff, lots of girls were on the pill and our only concern was getting pregnant no one ever mentioned condoms as a form of protection against STIs so basically what is now termed "unsafe" sex was the norm. I had thought that we'd come some way since those days and that most people especially younger ones were very particular about using condoms and knowledgable about STIs, these recent bareback threads have made me realise that while many are sensible you do still get people who are naive about their sexual safety in the extreme and others who see possible STIs as a risk they are prepared to take.
Every one has a choice in the matter of course and as has been said many times in the fora look after your own sexual health and let others worry about theirs but sometimes my breath is taken away by the risks people will take and the excuses they put forward as to why it's acceptable. |

I feel the same. I was an 80s girl and from a small village in wales so went on the pill at 17 and never worried. Met a long term partner in 1993 and got tested straight away and never played away. It's nuts what risks people take. |

I can't believe that there are some that think wearing a condom makes them untouchable and they don't have to worry about testing if they have no symptoms. Whilst I don't do bareback with meets (just with my FB and we're both regularly tested), I respect other peoples right to choose and hope they respect mine to not play with them |

So I don't see that any active swinger is in a position to shout the odds about what is or isn't safe-sex  Using a condom may reduce the risks by an unknown factor but if you're paranoid about STI's don't swing |
