Two!
I think they can look nice sometimes but they scratch and make me think of cleanliness issues "
Me too and just the way it feels when kissing and when giving you oral... No thank you!

"From previous threads and ladies bios . "
If you've ever tried kissing a guy with a beard or stubble, or have one perform oral on you, you'd understand why some people really don't like it.
Sometimes it's like kissing sandpaper |

"I hate my beard!
My daughter always says, if your dad doesn’t have a beard you have 2 mums, so I’ve stuck with it for years."
Your daughter listens to The Beards. I've seen them every time they've been to the UK.
I like beards if the face suits a beard. If the face doesn't suit it, I like there not to be a beard. The only thing I don't like is spiky stubble as it gets uncomfortable fast. |

Us more experienced* guys trim our beards the day before meeting up, so that they’re nicely worn in and not spiky at all when rubbing between your thighs.
*Yes, yes. ‘Older’. |

Hubby has a very short beard, a little bit longer than a stubble. It suits him and his smouldering crystal blue eyes. He completely shaved it off once and he looked just so wrong, the rugged sexy look had disappeared completely. I ordered him to get it back and it’s never been smooth since

"Mrs is not a massive fan but most men seem to have them nowadays.
Exactly, when will the trend end? "
Agreed, I just don't find it attractive, there are loads of guys I'd be attracted to if they didn't have the beard. Very few can make me see past it. (but it's absolutely a 'me' problem, and everyone should look how they want to look/feel most confident) |

Fortunately there are enough different tastes for everyone to be happy. Mrs L loves mine and convinced me to grow it five years ago, never looked back.
It wouldn't do for everyone to like the same thing. |

Long stubble or a very short beard is hot but anything that comes away from the face just doesn’t do it for me. They’re all scratchy and they often smell like dirty hair, just not for me but they do look great on some guys. |

My theory is the internet ruined the reputation of beards.
They were fashionable for a while but what happened is after they became fashionable, all the recluses/reddit users types imitated the style, but decided they only needed to grow it & not bother with grooming or hygiene....
so an explosion of these long straggly bin-laden hobo beards started appearing particularly on dating apps which have a large demographic crossover with the aforementioned.
The beard became associated with opinionated overweight millennial men with bad clothes and entitlement issues lmao.
Just my theory |

We both find beards a major turn OFF it's a NO from us when we get messages from bearded men or hairy guys for that matter. Smooth is a lot nicer look more clean. Beards are like face masks, you wonder who's hidding behind it.
Remember this is just our opinions and nothing personal. |

I'm currently preparing to audition for ZZ Top.
I was hoping that going full wizard would help win over some of the women who didn't like me when I was clean shaven, but it doesn't seem to have worked. |

Let's hope so! As soon as footballers start to lose their beards the copycats will remember what a razor looks like! |

I love a beard. I'm in the mood for one between my thighs. But it must be attached to a handsome man who conditions it with coconut cream from leftover curry. And he must be able to make a good curry, and shop at M&S at least four times a month. I also would like if he could drive, so he can drive me around at Christmas to see all the lights on the houses. And he must like Christmas too, because it is my favourite time for the year. And did you know I like Autumn an awful lot, so he must like that too. I don't like mushrooms, but that's not a dealbreaker I guess. |

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that! |

My beard's really soft and I've never had any complaints with kissing or oral, two things I love, in fact I've been told by various ladies that I'm in the top one when it comes to oral!
Beards are natural after all, but I was never a fan when I was younger and didn't think I could grow one, but I went for it one Movember and it took a while to come through and once it did, I never looked back.
Granted, not all men suit a beard, but on me it slims down my face and masks the jowels too. Once I grew one my ex wife said I was never to shave it off as it made me much better looking in her eyes! |

Depends on the type of mushrooms really? |

"Men usually follow advise from eachother which means it's for the male gaze not the female gaze and vice versa which is so funny to me "
So funny that men don't just look and dress up to please women? Up to individual to dress how they like. If someone else like it, great. |

They have the downside of irritating my skin, quite often. Picking between 2 identical guys, with and without, I'd pick the guy without.
Men can look great with them but I think most do look better showing their skin. |

My wife is ambivalent about beards, just as long as they aren't to long or straggly.
I shaved off my beard just not long ago (for our usual comedy Christmas card, where we dressed as nuns on that one...) and the Missus was a bit freaked out until it started to grow back.
I don't think it was out of any preference, but she is used to me having one. |

Wow . I have a pretty long beard, I keep it tidy and barely have beard envy of others it's not at the point I like it . I genuinly had no idea it was such an instant turn off for a lot of women,
I suppose we all have our preferences, |

Quite a lot of people on Fab seem to falsely conflate hair – of any kind – with dirtiness. It's really irrational, but it's also really common. As a bearded, long-haired man with all my own pubes, it's something I notice a lot. |

Beards are only harsh when they’re not bring looked after. Shampoo, conditioner, and beard oils are a must. Lot of guys don’t look after their beards so I get that. Short stubble is definitely scratchy!
As for cleanliness…it’s all a bit silly to me really, to think a beard is unclean simply because it is a beard |

It depends on the person and the beard, for me (Steph). A guy needs a longer face to pull one off well. Rounder faced guys with bushy beards just remind me of those 'upside down head' pictures you used to get in kids books.
The traditional look of beards was all rugged and manly. If yours makes you look like you've just parked up your pickup truck after a day cutting trees then you can split me like a log If you look like Joe Wilkinson, sniffing the bike seats in the local gym - not so much |

I would happily agree to all the above
I really dislike mushrooms too |
