It's splitting hairs to be honest, but no of course you can't maintain a Haddon over days, but you do maintain part of the plateau and "edge" feeling for hours and days after.
The problem with saying something like "I edge everyday" implies you cum everyday. Edging over multiple days or edging for multiple days is quite obvious what it means.
