When i used to play part of a couple we aways played or met people not too local.
My wife said if did not work out or you met someone not as discreet you did not have to run into them in tesco etc. Twice we walk away after phone chat once when it sounded like kids might be same school,and once when both ladies worked same place.

Not too local, prefer people about 30 mins to an hour drive away as don't want to be bumping into them when doing the shopping. However we are starting to find that everyone knows everyone when it comes to couples and I'm not too keen on that so we would like to make some friends further away for fun weekends away when things are back to normal x |

We mix it up ... we play at a club about 20 mins mini cab from home (Surrey) and on holidays in Madrid ... always nice to consider the options "do I stay an extra hour with handsome Jose or do I get in another visit to the Prado?" ... wink ... Jose always wins out ... Anne |

We’d rather not meet people who are too local. A 30-60 minute drive away would be ideal. I don’t want to bump into them when out with friends or family or risk coming into contact with them at work. It’s all very inbred around here and everyone seems to know everyone.
