Before anyone starts jumping down our throats preaching we know this isn't for everyone.

If it isn't for you then please read no further, no need for preaching to others for doing what they want to, this site is about free choice after all.

Anyone posting derogatory comments will have there post removed.

Anyway, for those of you still reading, we have the opportunity to use a club for a bareback friendly night where all attending are willing to play bareback.

Before we take the club up on the offer we are trying to gauge how many people would be interested in attending such a night.

It would be for mixed couples, guys and ladies and as per usual club/swinging rules you wouldn't be expected to play if you don't want to.

If you do not want to reply on here for fear of the preachers then please feel free to message us direct.

The club in question is centrally located and is very clean and it would be either a Friday or Saturday night.

To register an interest or to ask a question please comment below or message direct.

Nah. I value my health. You cannot simply know that anyone you fuck hasnt got an std/sti even if they give you a all clear, if they've fucked anyone since that test they could have something. It isnt worth the risk for a thrill imo.

It is a brave club which cancels its usual Friday or Saturday night to host a bareback only event. I would have thought they would "test the waters" on a weeknight first.

I only do bareback with long-term partners, who get tested regularly and I get tested regularly, too. My question, however, is the 'centrally located club', are they going to advertise the event as BAREBACK only to all who would like to visit that particular club on that particular day? Are they going to make it a closed event, only open to people on the list? I wouldn't like to stroll into a club on a Friday or Saturday night just to discover it is bareback only night.

And I do agree with previous comments, swingers club that promotes bareback can't be a very good club, and should not be operating.

Are you really willing to risk your health (and the health of any future partner and their partners) for sexual gratification?

It's a massive big, NO THANKS from us. While we are firm believers of each to their own, this is something that stopped us getting "into the scene" for many years. Safe sex in clubs, twisted our arms, but if this is standard practice, we're out of here.

What has this got to do with the OP's post? Also, gym is not for everyone, for a variety of reasons, be it price, time, availability of equipment, personal health issues etc. What is more, if every person were gym bunnies, toned and fit, life would be boring!

The difference is you don't catch someone else's obesity or alcoholism.

Try talking to someone who practices safe sex with everyone except their partner and then their partner barebacks and gives something to them.

If you’re willing to bareback with 1 person regardless of whether they’re your long term partner/spouse or not, it’s still down to you....... you are the one that chose to put your health at risk. Just like someone fat like me chooses to eat too much of the wrong stuff, I’ve chose to take that risk!

It’s personal choice, no need for anyone on here to judge

I totally see where you are coming from. And although, yes, I am judging, it is purely out of fear of our personal health.

I respect that this is their life choice, but when there is even a minimal chance that their choice will negate or affect ours, then I have a right to voice my opinion and act in a way to protect it.

It's so rare to hear comments like yours. I completely agree.

Bareback is not for everyone (and let's not get into the "any future children as a consequence" brigade).

I don't go about advertising that I'm safe sex only, I don't think it's anyone's business. As a preference for bareback is also no one's business except for those involved. Open and honest says more than the tirade of abuse so many pile on.

I would agree to an extent if the only people who attended

Were certificate clean and disease free . Regularly tested

Anyone who visits club has to prove that .Saying ' I'm clean' has often led to many visits to the clap clinic for someone else . When all said and done it's about being and showing responsibility and frankly someone saying they are clean I'd not being responsible .

By all means have fun but be responsible to yourself and more importantly to other people .

But someone saying "I'm clean" wouldn't lead to the clap clinic for someone else, if someone else chose to play safe... It's a personal decision. With personal consequences. Not my thing but others playing bare has no effect on you, as long as you play safe. There is a special place in hell for those cheating on their partners and playing bare, but that is a separate issue. Bringing hellfire and damnation on everyone that plays bare will not change their minds. It just leads to people not being honest about it

Well, it's nice to see that so many people want to judge and berate things that we, and plenty of others, enjoy doing. It is also nice to know that we have received more private messages showing an interest in our night than there has been negative comments on here.

We only have one question for the 'I value my health' crowd - how many of you use a condom or dental dam when performing oral sex? According to the NHS website, oral sex is one of the most common says STI's are passed on, such as Chlamydia, herpes, genital warts, gonrrhoea, hepatitis A, B and C, HIV and syphilis.

So you are therefore just as much at risk as us!

Our original post did say this isn't for everybody and to move on if it wasn't, just goes to show that some people aren't happy unless they are judging others.

Many thanks to all the posters on this thread that been respectful with any comments they have made.

The swinging scene is about being yourself, enjoying yourself and not being judged for it. If you don't like what someone else does then fine, don't meet that person, let them do what they want to do and you carry on doing what you want to!

Hi, opposing opinions is not a problem as every person has their own, and criticism towards us is like water off a ducks back, and like you said I was expecting some.

What I can't understand are the people who take things so personally that they feel it's okay to send abusive, vile messages and then bravely block us so we can't reply. There is no place for that sort of thing on here.

Anyway, yes the interest did outweigh everything else so it has worked its purpose.

It’s irresponsible, not about freedom of choice. The more people go bareback the more STD’s will be prevalent in society for everyone.

Firstly, There is a risk of passing STIs/STDs through unprotected oral sex, but it’s a lesser risk than penetrative sex.

Secondly, you’ve taken the information off the nhs website out of context. It’s not that STIs/STDs are COMMONLY PASSED through oral sex. If you reread what it says on the website, it actually states; ‘The MOST COMMON STIs that can be passed on through oral sex include:

herpes

gonorrhoea

syphilis

Other STIs that are passed on less commonly through oral sex include:

chlamydia

genital warts

hepatitis A

hepatitis B

hepatitis C

HIV

pubic lice

It’s up to you whether you and others have bareback sex or not. It’s not something we do with strangers. I commend you and others whom state it clearly on their profile, thus giving others an informed decision. Just make sure that everyone knows the correct information about the risks before proceeding.

"Not for me thanks and then neither would anyone on your verifications list be or anyone on theirs either . You deserve to be 'preached' at frankly whether you want to avoid it or not ..

Unbelievable !

Deserve to be preached at? Have you not heard of live and let live and don't judge others. Jeeeeez.

At least they are being honest and upfront about how they play.

Actually NO on this occasion you are not right .

Firstly some people f you d can still remember Aids ! Can you ? If you can that's enough to make you think .

Secondly ..fine choice Of word ' live' ..it's not live and let live . If people want to have bareback sex than its not just them we need to think about . It is all the people in the ' chain' on here that can mean a lot of people .

"

Yes I remember aids but you are totally missing the point here. They are choosing to play bareback as others are who will be meeting them. We would never do bareback but we certainly would never put down others who choose to.

I don't see how it effects anyone else. If you use protection with those you have sex with then you are safe, regardless if they have done bareback elsewhere. So yes it is a case mind your own business and live and let live. Their life, their choice.

don't let the judgemental folk put you off living your life how you wish. Wr hope you have reported those who have sent you vile abusive messages.

This has been an absoloutely great filter for blocking out people who we wouldn't wish to meet. Can't stand people who put others down. Absoloutely no need, at all.

All about personal choice and not being judged.

"I know the risks but love bareback, although not at a club"

It’s the easiest thing in the world to stand in judgement of others, personal preference is exactly that; however, and this is a genuine question, given the prevalence of STI’s and the impact of HIV (I know someone personally who lives with his diagnosis and it’s daily impacts), “why?” would anyone take the risk of unprotected sex with another who is happy to have bareback with multiple partners? Clearly I’m missing something, so what’s the upside?

Wow! So we have a topic that is controversial but honest.

We have responses, expectedly, that are somewhere between pious and damning plus a couple of those who go with the 'it's your life' philosophy.

This is very much an accurate, or close to accurate, 'weathervane' measure of Fab as a whole... in my opinion.

We have an open and honest subject from the OP, followed, quite typically, by the outrage and dissenting of the pious and self appointed Fab Moral Police. Shuffling along behind them are the usual sycophants who will agree with either the majority or the posters they wish to clique with. Then we have a few who take a considered view and recognise choice. Until finally we have those who will argue against regardless of whether they have a realistic view or not.

The Fab Forum. Predictable as ever....

Not just cervix and HPV risk though -

Researchers from the Medical Research Council's Human Reproductive Sciences Unit at The University of Edinburgh have found that that the high concentration of prostaglandin in semen makes other diseases of the female reproductive organs worse -- including uterine cancer.

Depends how you are classifying the risk. In terms of severity of impact, you are far less likely to catch any of the "big nasties" such as HIV. However you can catch HPV via oral sex which while it can be harmless it can increase your risk of a number of cancers, particularly cervical cancer. However in terms of likelihood of transmission, gonorrhea is very transmissible by oral sex.

I was just trying to point out that they are still putting themselves at risk. any sex is a risk. But its very small risk for oral without protection.

Women are taking the biggest risk PREP drug doesn't protect for cancer

I'm going to probably come across very naive but this is a genuine query I have so OP when you do bareback with 1 or multiple people you know you'll possibly catch something from HSV to HIV.

So what would you do next? If you can answer this it would help me and maybe others to understand this choice. Thanks

I’ll probably get banned for this but it has to be said......

A lot of people on this forum are totally hypocrites....

I remember a club promoting a Herpes night , and everyone was saying this was great idea.. it would be sex positive event and would not stigmatize people with Herpes ...

Now the Op post for a bareback party at a club with no one confirmed as having any sti’s And people are now ready to burn down the club...

Plus have the Op drawn and quartered for even suggesting this party...

I have read numerous post from people with mental health problems, too fat , too skinny , too old , too young , too ugly.... and people always give support plus positive advice.....

Why isn’t the Op afforded the same courtesy?

Think everyone is just concerned tbh, unless they are all locked away after testing and retested after incubation period with no physical contact inbetween then how is sti free guaranteed. Some take PREP drug for their own protection but niave people probably don't, plus this drug has limited protection and as I commented earlier women are at much higher risk due to exposure to different sperms not just sti, hpv, hiv

Not for me BUT I do appreciate what you're trying to do. I would try and get all the people who go to get tested 1 week before the event and then at least you can hopefully minimise things getting spread. Having unprotected sex or breeding is a fetish so you could probably advertise it as a breeding party but you'd have to hire the club and say its a private party to not get the club a bad reputation.

In response to people saying you can't catch obesity some people like being fat FYI and if we were all skinny judgemental bitches the world would be a much worse place than somewhere full of fat people

Obesity, alcohol, drugs etc can damaging to your health too but I reckon there’s a fair few of you negatively commenting that are obese or use/take drugs and or alcohol

Lifestyle choice yes the point is will all of them be up to date tested?

It’s funny , people who live in countries where’s they are so poor that it’s impossible to overeat , never get fat from gland problems .

If you burn more calories than you take in , you will lose weight.

Why would you willing put your health at risk?

Drugs I have not and will not take personal choice seen to much crap and what it does to decent human beings. On the subject of alcohol again own personal choice if we want to have a drink or not.

Now people who are obese have you given any thought that they might have a gland problem and nothing to do with over eating?

Why are there antibiotic resistant strains of gonorrhea? Is it because of all the people who practice safe sex? Or is it the people who don't give a damn whether they get a dose of the clap because they'll just take some antibiotics and carry on?

Ok let me put it to do in a different manner.

Let's for arguments sake imagine that every single person on the planet used protection on every occasion and people with incurable STDs took them to the grave with them.

How long would solely sexually transmitted deseases be in existence?

We need to use protection today only because people in the past refused to use it.

Please don't tell me that your barebacking has nothing to do with other swingers because actually your barebacking puts the rest of us at risk. (Broken condoms etc etc)

I am talking about how those deseases became resistant in the first place.

If evolution is the opposite of extinction then I don't understand how these diseases can develop an immunity to antibiotics when they haven't had repeated exposure to antibiotics.

On the other end of the scale these diseases would be extinct if everyone used protection, much less have evolved.

The more diseases are exposed to antibiotics the more chance there is it will mutate and become resistant.

It's the same with the flu its mutated constantly hence why they have to change the flu jab every year. If it didn't mutate you could just get 1 flu jab and be protected year after year

While you're at it ask whether you have more chance of catching and STD through a condom or bareback in the vagina of a woman who has cocktail of other mens cum.

My hypothesis is based on the fact that I have had penetrative sex with over 100 different female partners and oral sex with at least 3 times as many. My partner and I are tested regularly and have never come up positive despite the fact that I had sex with people whose tests have come back positive. I may not be a microbiologist but my maths is pretty decent when it comes to working out the odds.

Therefore the more people get STDs and are treated with antibiotics the more they mutate?

Using your analogy of the flu, if everyone stayed indoors and humans never crossed paths, not only would flu not mutate it would die out. Humans never interacting is an impossible scenario whereas humans using protection is not just practicable it makes logical sense.

I am not judging barebackers. I am just saying they cannot say their behaviour has nothing to do with me. The reason I need to be tested is because of them and the reason I and at risk when accidents do happen is because of them. So I respectfully don't agree.

And I have continued that example. Neither STDs nor influenza can flourish spread or mutate in isolation. And that's what condoms do by and large, they isolate.
