No experience but you really need to know what you are doing!
I suggest you actually get someone who has experience to physically show you how it's done first time to avoid any injuries.
It's a bit of a specialised kink as well so you may not get many answers on here.

Try solo play sound come lots size buy a 4 and 6 mm if enjoy go bigger don't force if fits they just slide in. Sterile water-based lube, isopropyl alcohol wipes and latex/nitrate gloves.
Medical grade steel sounds - no cheap knock offs or medical grade silicon sounds.
Sterisation of metal sounds is good practice. Look up processes.
Keep things clean. You don't want unnecessary damage or infections.
Google tutorials on sounding and Catheterization.
Find a workshop / local dungeon / someone will experience to guide you first.
But if you do self try. Gentle gently. Understand your anatomy. So slow, start small.  |

There's some sound advice above (pun was unintentional but now I see it...its staying) you can get sachets of single use sterile lube. I admit I've used non sterile water based lube before and never had an issue. |
