We've had a few blokes message pretending to be a couple, usually saying just the male half meeting at the moment, so we can see the motive.

I think it's nothing to do with sexual kicks. I think it's more to do with feeling that you exist. That a yellow inbox is something to look forward to. Loneliness drives people to do unrational things. |

People that genuinely want to meet for sex will offer to meet in person, even for a social in a public place. If that is not forthcoming promptly just dismiss them out of hand. |

I'd say there's a few reasons but mostly I'd say it's for attention. As a single guy you have to be happy that you are bottom of the heap.
I think there is a good discussion in what a site like this does to the single lad's head. I feel it sometimes myself and I'm pretty successful as far as single men go.
Confidence, good looks, good in the sack, eloquent. You can be all these things and still not get even a reply back. The consistent knocks to your confidence build up and this can make people play up. Some will just shrug it off, some will make a saucy profile to feel valid again.
In myself, I take the knocks by putting those I like on a hotlist and in a lot of cases I never do build the confidence to go for what I want because the likelihood is that it will be ignored or lost in the sea of messages.

problem is youve no idea who you are typing with , could be a couple of 18 year old school lads, to an elderley man.
Same applies in the chat rooms , just because theres a female name in the room, every blokes on it , convinced its a woman watching them wank, 9 times out of 10 its a bloke |
