Edinburgh gets a bit of a bad reputation on here as being full of unfriendly or slightly stuck up fabbers.

However today it got to No 6 in the top 10 friendliest places in the world.

Dublin was No 2

No mention of anywhere else in the UK.

We are a lovely bunch afterall

Inverness

I lived in Leith for nearly 20 years. Never had a problem. A bit of a blast from the past "the pubic triangle". Worked the doors there for a year, many moons ago.

Shows how out of touch I am with the West Port entertainment scene. Last time I was there, there were no bouncers needed.

Aberdeen

I've been to Edinburgh many times and always found the people really friendly and welcoming (many with a sexy as hell accent too!)

As a scouser I'm suprised Liverpool didn't place in the top 10!

Xx

It's an amazing city, well worth a trip! Fantastic nightlife, culture and friendly people.

I wish I could say the same about Aberdeen, 13 years here and I still don't feel like this is a friendly city.
