"Unless they are carrying a pineapple then leave them be….
And don't if they are also carrying gammon steak!
You will start a pineapple or egg debate with statements like that!"
Or the old favourite about pineapple on a pizza? |

Yeah, no.
OP didn’t specify whether the protagonists had met at all. But no…even if we had met I wouldn’t approach anyone outside of the fab sphere and especially wouldn’t approach them if we hadn’t met. |

"What is the best way to approach someone you recognise from fab in public with out embarrassing them or yourself ? Its never happened to me I'm just curious ."
Don’t. I’d be really cautious unless you actually have talked to them, even then.. |

For the vast majority - what happens in fab world stays in fab world.
I personally don’t mind - there are very few around me that don’t know what I do, so life is easy on that front.
I would not make the first move tho, I have a few male friends whose straight life would not be comfortable talking to a trans person especially if their partner is close.

Why would you even ask this. Unless your friends with them then it's a different story |

If you’re not a close friend of the person then leave them well alone.
We’ve had messages saying people have recognized us after they’ve seen us out shopping, that’s fine to message us afterwards |

Doesn't matter cant block distances |
Well i prefer to be treated like a human. If it's in a store simply have a conversation like a normal person about something..Introduce your real self because you've clearly saw my real self. The fab part is irrelevant at that moment.

Definitely don't, there is no need to be approaching anyone of here that you don't know . I think it's a case of feeling like ye know someone because you happen to be n the same site , have seen pics but the reality is , it's a stranger! Would you approach someone you don't know but might very seen pics on vanilla social media platforms ,I think not ,here should be no different . It would only serve to cause distress and alarm . Its a case of fantasy and real life shouldn't mix ,just because it seems you now someone ,you dont ! |

"I've had plenty messages in here from people who have seen me in public. I think that's the correct thing to do. "
I would 100% agree. Afterwards perhaps message and if they want to progress a conversation that’s fine but I would hate to be pulled up. One day I was messaged by a random guy who used my nickname. I could’ve melted and felt panicked by it. I then tried the cover up with them ‘who’s ???’ Etc. another guy said he knew my wife and kids and that felt horrible. Bad enough being recognised online but in the street would be worse. |

You just don't - it doesn't even need asked!! Id imagine the vast majority of the site would see this as an unwritten rule. As previous commentators have said it would only serve to cause alarm and distress. |
