I've been lucky and met my partner and girlfriend from here.
Fab dating is definitely a thing that can work. Being polyamorous I find it is better than dating apps; excluding Feeld, can be easier to find open minded people.
Always open to new relationship opportunities, tend to find the better you know each other the better the sex/play is |

Yes I think so too - I would love to do more dating but I got rid of tinder etc just as I found it so boring and rarely got any decent conversations. Sadly I’m up in Aberdeen so I’m slightly limited location wise but still keen to date up here |

Same here. Many times more meets and dates from the usual dating sites and the ladies are all attractive and chatty, with plenty kink going on !!. Just not enough women on here to make it a _ealistically successful thing unfortunately, otherwise be a great idea. Profiles of the same person vary between sites as is normal and to be expected. |

This is a really interesting one and been a good read through the posts.
We all know the dating scene is a cesspit, I ended up with two stalkers (not joking btw), and it isn’t going to improve. People must be choosing to be single now rather than risk the negative experiences of the dating scene.
I think fab dating would work for fb situations but it’s rare to have singles meet over here and have successful relationships. We all see the drama and hurt feelings that those interactions lead to.
Perhaps dating socials/ singles only socials would be a more effective idea. |

Definitely up to this idea of dating, I’ve had it on my profile for a while. Just reading what people have said and it’s true to find someone who enjoys this sort of lifestyle on mainstream dating apps is a none grower, how do u even approach the question lol.
By meeting on here you don’t need to be coy or worried about approaching the subject you all ready know both are kinky it’s just finding out if both compatible to do other things with as well as the kink.

Someone who matches my effort and brings as much to the table as I do. I don't think that's asking for too much, infact to me it should be the minimum everyone is searching for |

Oh the list of demands that are made on profiles. makes it a slog or it felt like a slog for me.
Some women around my age looking for men that had no ties for holidays etc or don’t be this or that..
The matching and messages, so you actually don’t really get to a point to say ‘go for a coffee/chat?’
My experience with it was that you don’t actually get to dates as the way it’s set up with the dating site is to maximise your time looking rather than get you to an outcome where you can do the dates or adventures or find chemistry or passion.
Sort of fruitless endeavour and agree with those that say prolonged exposure to dating sites can be not good for mental health
I do not particularly want to settle for anything either but, it’s also pointless being in the shelf of a dating site |

Same as Ms Wyld and Sassie, this is the bare minimum, having tried dating I'm back to just having fun. If it comes along its meant, but it should upgrade your life. I've stopped trying to make sense of people. The right people will get your kind of crazy. I'd rather be a vibrant ball of energy, not a dimmed light in the corner. Men who dont play mind games, and just say what they mean are attractive. No drama, just me and someone whose actions echo there promises. Someone whose heart is a big as their sense of humour. Someone who keeps the bare minimum away from me and who shows up with passion. Sometimes what doesnt work out for you, really does work for you. 2025 is all about effort without forcing. If its not meant to be, peacefully let it go. Life's far too short, I'd rather spend that time with real connections with friends and family and doing all the things I love. I have been so much happier single than in some realtionships, so I will choose being happier every single time. It's good to have boundaries and know your own worth. |

I may have expressed it wrongly or been taken wrong way but from what I saw on internet dating sites from quite a few profiles of women around my age wasn’t appealing in terms of what they said and how they said it.
Probably not what I was looking for in terms of building my own confidence again and basically to try and get dates and see if there was a connection or not.
Of course, I understand what you and others are saying in tenant of self worth and that’s entirely fine.
But some of the things I saw were jaw dropping lists of demands and guys my inevitably will be parents or have went grey etc etc |

So I have stopped looking, whatever will be will be.
I have had a lot of false promises on here last year from guys saying they will take me out on a date, out for dinner etc, never happened yet.

I think there definitely is getting to a point now for me after being single for a very long time and having had some lovely fwb from here over the years I have been on, that I’m getting closer to the point when I might just want something a bit more. I don’t want a normal vanilla monogamous relationship though so I think it’s just something that hopefully will naturally just happen if I let it at some point rather than go looking. Needs to be someone who gets it, so I barely end up looking in the other dating sites as I don’t even know how I would even approach it lol

Spot on for me this , so many of us will be looking for the same thing but going about achieving it is harder than it should be, on dating sites no one wants to put out there that a regular guy or girl who's after dating and a connection is built would be up for the things that bring us here because it brings such a negative response most of the time. What I think is a good idea is to arrange a singles speed dating event where people who might not get the reply message back from a profile they liked for what ever reason, the chance in person to spark a connection 1st |

find going to socials (Munch's) for kinks is a great levelling for interests, you meet people who are equally open minded and up for a chat, swinging for me has be the act with less of the social- granted there is a great social scene its just not been for me, where as most of the kink scene is more my speed. meeting someone with openness of interests is first part of a relationship, throw complexity of being bi poly and kinky mainstream aint gonna be the smoothest of journey |
