....when the Xmas decorations come down. Are you? Or are you happy and cutting aboot like Kim & Aggie hoovering & dusting.

I've got all my wee candles lit and channelling my inner pyromaniac to make the living room look cosy but it looks bare.

Kinda glad for my living room to be back to normal though keeping my fairlights and my candles and blankets going until winters over.

It's a joy putting them up, but a pain pulling them down. Who'd have thought that a brass tack that is easy to pin up, is a bugger to prise off when standing on a stepladder?

I'm relying on the wee man holding the ladder when I go up the loft to put them away. Wee fkr contemplated firing me right over the bannister.

I’m glad to have restored the living room back to where it was!

I’ll miss the little subtle lights I had dotted about. But glad the tree is away.

RIP Xmas 2023 x

I like him - a nice wee insurance claim just in time to book his summer holiday.

I had them all put away on the 30th. I don’t like them being up for the new year.

I’ll be delighted to not see them or hear the Xmas tunes for a while.

That being said it can be nice to see the tinsel out

I literally just had a 30cm mini Xmas tree from the co-op in my flat. Goal is to try and not kill it before Xmas next year.

No decorations up.

All I gotta really do is finish my Advent Calendar (Lost interest about the 14th) and put away the leftover rolls of wrapping paper.
