Not swinging related, but wondering if anyone could recommend a nice "get away from it all" weekend break in Scotland?
Not looking for the Hilton, more a holiday home/lodge/caravan type break, and reasonalbly priced. Been a very stressful few months and just need to relax and recharge in order to face the period of paliative care which lies ahead. x |

The Callander Wood Leisure park is amazing for a quiet break away from everything, but lots of the glamping sites also do lodges that are brilliant.
Hope you manage to find the right one for a well deserved break |

Where are you travelling from and what kind of place are you after a rural retreat with hot tub type thing or a nice hotel with spa etc |

Auchrannie on Arran .. the retreat lodges are fabulous, all with their own wood fired hot tubs and you've got the hotel bar and restaurants and spa on the estate a 2 minute walk.
If too expensive you'll definitely find hundreds of lodges up and down the west Argyll coastlines .. nowhere better for what you are looking for. Airbnb / farmstay |

"Thank you all for the suggestions, some lovely ideas in there!
We've settled for a lodge in Gatehouse of Fleet, down Dumfries & Galloway area mid Sept.
Should be a nice peaceful getaway!" Have a great time you two
And enjoy every second Xx |
